The Stos are not playing well. 5-6 times having a man on third, and not getting him home. Wrong pitches to the wrong players. mistakes in the field, highlighted last night by what should have been three errors in the 2d. The Stros do not look like a ws team right now. Maybe home park will help. If Roy is on his game, we will have Tuesday's game. Wednesday is iffy, but, if Bakke is on, they could pull it out. Thursday is scary, but, looking at the Rocket's history, if he is well enough to pitch, he will probably be nasty and unbeatable. If, of course, he is well.
But, even before the game started, I commented that the games should be played in conditions that don't suck. last night, they sucked....I think its BS (and not sour grapes) that baseball is played in the rain at 40 degrees. I know both teams endured, etc., but, for the biggest games of the year, for both teams, MLB should ensure that either the parks can guarantee a stable weather environment, or, if they can't, the teams play elsewhere.
