Is any one planning to eat Thanksgiving dinner there, or better yet, has anyone already done it? Would appreciate your comments, have never eaten there before.

We are OKW members and have eaten at Olivia's many times--including last Thanksgiving. We had excellent service and a plentiful, filling holiday meal which was good-- but not excellent. The biggest problem was the turkey--which seemed to be from a turkey roll rather than a fresh turkey. We were full--but somewhat disappointed. Ordinarily, we love the dining experience at Olivia's.

We ate at Olivia's for Thanksgiving two years ago and had the same turkey roll that PKK/MJK had. My husband compares it to an elementary school turkey dinner. It was very expensive for the amount of food we had. It was all pre-plated and we had no choice for what we got. I was glad that we got our son a grilled cheese instead of the TG dinner. We've had other meals at Olivia's that were excellent.

Last year we tried to eat at Yacht Club Galley, but they closed it just before Thanksgiving, so we wound up at The Yacht Club Convention Center. It was excellent, but pricy. I don't think they are doing that this year.

We're doing Christmas dinner in our villa this year - I'm making a turkey breast, dressing, potatoes and salad with pie for dessert.

We're eating dinner at Olivia's on Thanksgiving. I figure since we'll be at the resort anyway that evening, why not give it a try. I don't intend to order a traditional turkey meal but something off the regular menu. I'm really looking forward to staying at OKW and enjoying a meal at Olivia's (oh, and not having to cook;) ).
