Well cream is basically an oily substance, so it is not so far fetched. People put butter in tea, so that is the same kind of thing. I might try it if offered for free.
I put butter in coffee once, it was foul.

Anyway, the idea of oil in coffee makes me think of that gagging feeling I get when I only have oil in my mouth. You know old-timey "drink this oil to induce vomiting"..... Need to stop thinking about that.

Bunch of philistines.

I've never done Starbucks but I do have a 'bulletproof' coffee most mornings. I use about a tablespoon of real butter, a little heavy whipping cream & zero sugar sweetner. I love it. Pretty much use it on mornings when I don't want breakfast so it keeps me satisfied til lunch or later.

🤮

Throw up a little bit in my mouth just thinking about it.

For me, it's "think about drinking oil in coffee to induce vomiting."

I'm wondering if they're going for a "butter coffee" or "bulletproof coffee" vibe...but Italian? I've never had butter coffee, but some swear by it....for satiety purposes I believe.
That's exactly what I was thinking.
