I don't like coffee, so doesn't matter to me.
I wouldn't want it in my tea though.....but if they had samples, I would give it a try

i drink my coffee strong and black...no additives. Olive oil isn't even a consideration.🤢🤮

I've never done Starbucks but I do have a 'bulletproof' coffee most mornings. I use about a tablespoon of real butter, a little heavy whipping cream & zero sugar sweetner. I love it. Pretty much use it on mornings when I don't want breakfast so it keeps me satisfied til lunch or later.
Butter and heavy whipping cream in coffee is yummy!

It can't be any worse than these nasty ingredients that Disney puts in a Dole Whip....

Sugar, Dextrose, Stabilizers (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Locust Bean Gum, Guar Gum, Karaya Gum, Pectin, Cellulose Gum, Xanthan Gum), Coconut Oil, Contains 2% Or Less Of Each Of The Following: Maltodextrin, Citric Acid, Natural & Artificial Flavor, Modified Food Starch, Malic Acid, Beta Carotene (Color), Mono & Diglycerides, Silicon Dioxide (Anticaking).

Sure, it can be worse. Those "nasty" ingredients taste good. Olive oil in coffee does not.

To be fair, Disney doesn't put that stuff in there, I believe Dole does.

It doesn’t sound appealing enough that I would pay to try it, but I would take a free sample if offered. I try to be open minded enough about foods to try anything new I’m offered, so long as it works with my dietary restrictions. I’m pretty against classifying foods as weird or gross — the foods one considers “normal” are only due to the circumstances of one’s geographical location or culture.

The concept of drinking oil is not completely foreign to me. I sometimes make broth to drink if I’m in the mood for something hot but don’t want tea. I boil water and mix in bullion, a tiny drizzle of olive oil, a splash of lemon juice, and cayenne pepper to taste. (It’s also the most effective home remedy I’ve found for relieving sinus pressure!) However, I’m having a hard time imaging what the coffee/oil combo would taste like.

Unless I really loved it, I doubt it’s something that would replace my usual Starbucks order. I don’t want the extra calories.

I tried butter coffee a few years ago when it was popular. It was touted as tasty and that the oils in the butter helped stabilize the caffeine absorption over a couple hours, avoiding the swift peak and crash. Some use coconut oil. Cow milk will always be the winner to me.

I've had coffee with MCT oil, it wasn't a big deal as far as taste goes. Olive oil? I dunno, probably not. Here's Stephen Colbert's take from The Late Show (Starbucks/Olive oil segment starts at 4:46) There's "language" but it's bleeped and pixeled out

Regarding the Chocolate Mayo cake, my sister used to make me one for my birthday, it's fantastic! Mayonnaise is just eggs and oil--which you'd add to a cake recipe anyway.

I thought I saw they were testing it somewhere in Italy. Doesn't appeal to me.

Micca beat me to it. That's where I saw it!
