I'm planning a trip for February, and we'd (4 adults) like to try out Olga's. Having never seen it before, I am hoping that someone can clue me in on the best time to aim for a reservation. Snacks and beverages right? rather than a place for a meal ? What do you like to eat and / or drink there?

I believe your are referring to Oga's Cantina. If you are looking for a reservation, you need to be making it at 6AM Pacific time 60 days out SHARP. I'm not exaggerating, I was surprised at zero availability when I tried at 8 am for literally any day 60 days out. I spoke with a cast never and she checked the other reservations for those days. Literally every single one was made at 6am or 6:01 AM. Set your alarm clock:)

Reservations go live at 3am PT 60 days out currently. Not 6am PT.

I understand this. I'm just sharing with you what the cm told me 1 week so about when reservations actually happened, no reservations were made before 6am. And reservations are not going live for every place at the same time. System is a bit of a mess right now.

I've been looking for Oga's reservations in January and I've seen them every day I've checked. I usually check first thing in the morning, like 6am PST. But even now I just checked my phone ( 2pm PST) and there are reservations available for every day of the second week in January. I guess getting a reservation just depends on if it's a slow week or not. Back when I was trying for our December trip it was almost impossible to find any.

As for what they serve there...Oga's has a drink menu and a few small food items. I'm not sure if you could make a meal of it or if it's more of a snack. If you look up the menu you can see what they offer.

Pre-covid, I liked the breakfast menu ... overnight oats, yogurt with fruit, coffee.

For what it’s worth, Less than 2 weeks ago I made Oga reservations for two days of my end of Dec, New Years Eve visit. The reservations went up online at 3am pacific time, 60 days out from my visit date. I set my alarm and watched the availability appear in the app at exactly that time. They would then all be gone less than 5 minutes after coming online. The dining availability window was very consistent (same time, 60 days) for every date of my visit. Not at all as random as in the past, but things could always change I suppose.

You were sharing with the OP, not me. I was just correcting the time you shared.

And from personal experience the past few weeks as well as what many others have reported, many of the standard offerings (Oga's, Carnation Cafe, Cafe Orleans, Lamplight, Blue Bayou, etc) outside special offerings are going live at 3am PT 60 days out on the dot. I'm not used to it being that consistent myself, but it's what's been happening :confused3

The CM you spoke with might have meant ET, by the way. Since they do go live at 6am ET.

The correct time is 3:00 AM PST. When I was making our dining reservations for next month I saw Oga’s available each day. We’re not interested so I passed but it was there.

Definitely drink/snacks, not a full meal. Also, be prepared to share a booth (assuming you are seated at one) -- with a party of 4 it's pretty much guaranteed you'll get another party seated with you. Outer Rim is the general winner for us as well. Fuzzy Tauntaun is fun with a group if you've never been.

FWIW we had great luck also doing walk up reservations at Oga's the days when we didn't have a reservation (that I got exactly 60 days out... at 3am PST!)

We also did walk up. We had a cocktail which was ok. They are all made and too sweet for my tastes though I’m sure others will enjoy them. They also have a beer flight if you like beer. The atmosphere was fun and worth stopping in for.

Potentially unpopular opinion: I think my favorite thing in there right now is the Oga's Obsession dessert. (Previously, it was the Mustafarian Lava Roll they used to serve in the mornings.)
