old waterpark/fun tickets

I have several old (paper) non-expiring tickets that have all the park days used up, but several waterpark/fun days left on each. We are going to WDW in August and want to use some of those days. Do these tickets have to be converted somehow? Added to our magic bands? Assigned to specific people? What do we need to do?

I can't answer for sure, but I had non/expiring 10 days wpfnm with ph that had days left ... Park admission and water park days. They had been added to our room cards at some point and I was able to add those to my MDE and then deactivate them so they wouldn't accidentally be used when we enter with our MB in Aug, since we have APs right now. It does tell me how many days are left (which you used to have to show up in person to find out) but it doesn't tell me how many water park days are left (pretty sure I know because I keep real of it in my phone notes...).
If you go to MDE as try to link tickets, you'll see a blue hyperlink for linking older tickets ... See if that'll work for you.

I have also added old tickets with several waterpark days and 1 park day left on it. Only the park day shows up. It would be nice if you could see how many waterpark days you have left.

We just had some old paper tickets converted to RFID tickets. It can be done at any guest services location, and then the RFID tickets can be added to your MDE account. The CM also told me that when you exchange the paper tickets for RFID tickets, the old fingerprint information is wiped away and the new RFID tickets can be assigned to whomever you wish. Haven't tried this yet, but that is what I was told.

You can email the front and back of each ticket with a copy of your photo ID to Ticket.Usage@DisneyWorld.com and within 7-10 days they will reply with how many days are left on each ticket.

I had the paper tix and knew I had a wp day left . I did what was posted above and wdw called me and confirmed that the wp day was there.

We did this last year. We had some old plusses left from our 2000 tickets ( good for waterparks, Disney quest). We used them at Typhoon Lagoon. We got there at opening and asked. There is a Designated line for people with paper tickets/leftover credits. After worrying about it, it was no big deal. There were several people in that line, so I think it happens daily.
