I am glad to hear they put them to good use. We left some with them when we left and I was hoping the did not think I was strange asking if they could put them to use!

We just changed our resort to the Beach Club! We will be there November 9th thru the 16th... will the outside christmas lights and inside christmas trees be up by then??

They start November 1st and they are finished by Thanksgiving. We don't know when Y&B is done. One year it was the first week of November and one year it was the second and one year it was the third. I asked last year how it was determined when each resort gets decorated and I was told it was done like a lottery. Don't know if that is true or not. My guess is that you have a good chance of it being done during the night while you are there but you never know ... Y&B could be a few days before Thanksgiving.

Thanks that is what we will do. Will you be here again on Sunday? If you would like it I am happy for you to have it. None of my family wanted to carry the water to the parks.
We have had a wonderful stay. Tomorrow we are off to Animal Kingdom for the first time. I hope we can see what we want in a day. Sunday we will try to do those last few things before we leave in the evening. I hope to make it to beaches n' creme.

Yep, I'll be there on Sunday. I'd love the water but CM parking is a long walk from the BC so I'd have trouble getting it to the car. Bell services CMs will share with me too.

Could I ask a small favor? If you are on the Crescent Lake side of the resort tonight could you look and see if the light in the top of the lighthouse is working. It is in the very top and turns like a regular lighthouse. It was out when we were there in June and I wondered if it was down for repair or gone.

I was away the week before you were, but I just looked at all of my photos taken from the Friendship Boats, and there was no light at the top of the lighthouse in any of them.

C'mon Disney! Tom Bodett of Motel 6 leaves a light on for us! Don't let him best the Yacht Club.

I was hoping to switch my WL reservation to BC (or at least do a split stay) when the passholder rates came out for September, but the rates were the same as the general public discount and all that was left were CL rooms, so I don't think we are going to be returning to BC this year. I cant really complain because we do love WL and were able to get 35% off with the BB offer when all other discounts for WL are 5-10%. The good news is that we will be back in March and hope to return to the BC. I'll certainly be lurking around this thread until then Thanks so much for maintaining this fabulous thread, Dee, and thank you, Teena, for sharing your wealth of information! To all who have a trip coming up soon, have a wonderful time!

I'm hoping once fall rates come out I can swing BC (or YC or BCV studio) for around the same price because if I'm paying that much I might as well stay at my Favorite resort, however not holding my breath as F&W fest will limit room availability.

Have a safe trip! We always fly out at about 6 A.M, and this year we're flying out at 2:30 in the afternoon. In fact, we're actually staying at the Hyatt at MCO before our BC stay begins the next day. It's a bit weird to break with vacation tradition isn't it? We are working on what to do on that airport night and I think we have a pretty awesome idea. Let me firm it up then I'll post back with it.

This will be our second time staying on site, and we'll be celebrating my DS's 7th birthday on February 26. He wants to go to Epcot for his birthday so we chose an Epcot Area resort for our second trip.

I'm very excited. I booked a trip to the Yacht Club February 23 to March 1, 2013. We reserved a Club Level Room, Garden View. This will be our second time staying on site, and we'll be celebrating my DS's 7th birthday on February 26. He wants to go to Epcot for his birthday so we chose an Epcot Area resort for our second trip.
