I spoke to customer service yesterday on the phone, apparently the DM of the Orlando stores got it in his head to charge 20$ more for the Rockband 2 game. The cashier scanned the paper from corporate, and it scanned in at 19.99 (normal MSRP) and price adjusted it right there in front of me... I was pissed when she did that. I was the first person to make the complaint because she had to call the store directly to find out. But they're mailing me a 25$ gift card, and my friend this morning went to the store and they refunded him the 30$ difference.
What do you think is the best way to try to get the word out about this?? Granted it was only like 40-50 copies... but overcharging people 20-30$ is like instant 1000$, and it wasn't just the store I went to, but ALL of the Orlando stores that were open on Thursday, because it was the district manager that made them change the price.
For any one that did get the deal...
You should've been charged 19.99 for Rockband 2 or 59.99 for Rockband: Beatles (and you should've gotten the Beatles guitar). If this didn't happen, then go back to the store and they should fix it.
