How are the kids jeans? The $10 sale starts today. I bought my son some Cherokee at Target, they were $12. He outgrew all his pants, the waist fits but they're floods.

I find the quality good, but I think they are actually shorter than jeans from Children's Place. A 12 Old Navy is shorter than a 12 Children's Place.

My son is in 14 slim now at Children's Place and they don't carry 16s, so I am now looking for larger boys jeans for super skinny kids.

They've held up great for my older dd. I have always bought my sons jeans at Sears, though, because they'd replace them if they ripped. But, since Sears quit doing that (probably due to my kids!) we are going to Old Navy tonight.

Do the kid jeans have the adjustable waist?

They do have the adjustable waist.... well atleast the ones I buy in the toddlers section.

Yes they do, thankfully.

They are my favorite! My two year old is so tiny that he has to wear 12 month swim trunks! Their jeans have the adjustable waist. I buy them in 18-24 months and they fit him fine. I did just buy him these adjusters from Amazon called Dapper Snappers. They are awesome! You can put them through belt loops on any pants or shorts that don't have adjustable waists:)

I buy tons of Old Navy jeans and have never had a problem with the quality. My son is hard on pants and they usually still look new at the end of the season.

I too have bought my tiny 2 year old jeans at ON and love the adjustable inside waistband! I had to buy 18-24 months for length and then sinch them up. She is so tiny though that I was only able to get one style for her that didn't look too boxy and bulky. They happen to be $8!!

Have fun!

Sears still replaces them, I just replaced 5 pairs of jeans and replaced shoes 4 different times this year. You have to have a receipt now, but they still do it.

Only for items purchased before 6/1/12. They discontinued the Kidvantage program after that. I just exchanged a few pairs last week with a receipt from last fall and they gave me a hassle.

I do like the Old Navy jeans, but just wanted to add that the Children's Place is also having a jeans sale now. I got two yesterday for ds, $10 each plus 15% off with an email coupon.

I love ON kids clothes! DD5 doesnt like jeans any more but we've been long time ON shoppers. Also, DS15mo wears mostly hand-me-downs from my good friend with boys just a little older than mine and the ON ones have held up GREAT. You'd never know they were on their 2nd or 3rd kid. While you're there do yourself a favor and hit up the clearance rack- you can pick up really great stuff for next year on the CHEAP!

My son is tall, leggy, and ON jeans aren't long enough for him. They were fine when he was younger, they seem to be well made.

I find that most of their jeans hold up pretty well, but by the end of the season, maybe some of them will have holes in the knees.

I love old Navy Jeans for my boys :) I have one that needs the slims and one that wears huskies and they both find great fits at old navy!! also if you go to the website and sign up for their emails youwill get a $10 off $50 so you could get one pair for free :)

We pretty much buy all of our jeans from Old Navy and love them. They hold up really well, and they have adjustable waist. My 3 skinny little guys need that! I try to buy each kid a pair or two during their $10 sale. I just placed 2 separate orders, using 2 different $10 off codes (use 2 separate email address to sign up for emails to get the codes). I arranged my cart to get them right at $50 for each order to get the $10 off plus the free shipping, then it was $40 plus tax after that. Make sure you choose free shipping before going on to the checkout b/c it seems to select the $7 shipping by default. So, basically, I got 20% off plus free shipping. They also have uniforms on sale.

As for size comparison, I think they run pretty true to size. However, I will say that my oldest daughter and I order the "short" length in ladies, and they are still too long for us. BUT they are still shorter than most "short" lengths in other brands, which is why we get our jeans there. We're both 5'2". For kids, I think they're probably true to size. My 11yo daughter is almost 5'3" and wears a size 14 in girls, but a sz 2 in womens, short length as well.

Anyway, hope that helps!
