Old magic band too small

The magic bands we have for my son are several years old and now too small for him. I don't want to shell out more $$ when we have a stock pile of old magic bands from previous trip but looks like I can't reassign one of our adult sized ones to him. Are there any other options than buying a new one?

If they are the ones with the puck in it you can remove the puck and put it in a magic keeper.

If you have trouble finding an official magic keeper (shopdisney has been sold out), try Etsy. Look for "Disney puck holder" or similar. I just ordered my DH one

Or if everyone has several, remove a puck from your son's band and put it into one of your adult-sized bands. No cost, uses the bands you already have.
