My coworker and I have been discussing old kids TV shows. Now I am only in my thirties, but there are a lot of older shows that I watched as a kid. Here are some of my favorites..

The New Zoo Revue
Reading Rainbow
Smurfs
Gummie Bears
Romper Room

Those are just a few..I am sure the DIS can come up with MANY more...so what were your favorites..

Well, the Smurfs are going to be in a new 3-D movie soon, so you can re-live your childhood!

I loved 3-2-1 Contact.

When you said old shows, I thought you meant really old. My kids watched the shows in the OP's post.

My favorite was the original Mickey Mouse Club with Annette, Robby, Cubby, etc.

I also loved Top Cat.

New Zoo Revue was my oldest dd's favorite.

Mine are a lot older:

Romper Room
Pixanne
Happy the Clown
Gene London
Top Cat
The Flintstones
The Jetsons

Scooby Doo (my favorite!)
Bugs Bunny and Friends (Tweety Bird, Daffy Duck, etc.)
Captain Caveman
Woody Woodpecker
Land of the Lost
Lost in Space
Brady Bunch

I was ON Romper Room! :rotfl: My DDad was a cameraman for the local station that produced a version and they would call whenever one of the regulars would get sick and I would fill in. I still remember the bright lights and singing "Bend and stretch, reach for the stars, there goes Jupiter, here comes Mars..."

I used to watch a show called Hatchey Malatchy ... I think it was local. Don't remember much except I loved it!

Mostly raised on PBS....The Electric Company was my favorite. I'm the only person I know who remembers that Morgan Freeman used to be a star. I loved when they did that double sillouette thing where one person said one part of a word, then the other person said another part, then they'd put the word together. Stupid, I know, but my college roommate and I used to do an "R" rated version of that and pee ourselves laughing.
