My in-laws and my family (husband, 2 daughters (5 yrs/5 months) are staying at Old Key West in March. We've booked 2 studios. Does anyone have advice on a good area of the resort to request? I've heard that certain areas are really bad for bus noise and that many of the rooms have thin walls and you can hear neighbors. I want to be within walking distance to the Hospitality House but in a quiet, safe area for the girls and my in-laws who often go to bed early. Thanks!

The bus route is on most of the interior roads and to be honest, the noise is noticeable.

If we can get someone to post the OKW resort map you can get a better idea of the layout.

the buildings near the hospitality house are a seperate booking category but are the same points as any other studio. If you are not booked for the hospitality house section, I would recommend calling memeber services back to request or waitlist for that section.

Beyond that, try to avoid any buidlings whos balconies are facing a highway as they are suspect to alot of traffic noise.

Thank you so much for the map! What does the red outline mean? Sorry for my ignorance!!! LOL I currently have requested one of these buildings 62, 63, or 64 based on a website that said they were some of the better ones. Would those be under the same rental category or different? Do you think that those are good options? I don't want to let my family down! :)

62, 63, and 64 are on a bus route. Red means that those buildings have Handicap Accessible rooms.

We have never stayed in the HH area, but friends of our love that area and ask for it every time. We like Turtle Pond area but seldom use buses. TP is quiet. HH area is close to boats to DTD, Olivias, big pool, etc. Honestly, I dont feel any area in OKW is a bad one:thumbsup2
