Old Key west or BWV Availability

HI, I want to stay in a studio for March 25-31st at either Old Key West or Boardwalk Villas . My brother, who will be traveling with us, belongs to Vacation club and he is saying the only availability is at Saratoga Springs, which happens to be his favorite resort. I'm not sure whether to believe him because I know that is where he wants to stay...would it be possible for another vacation club member to check availability for me? I will rent points if I have to. thanks

Actually, it's entirely possible your brother is being truthful. March is spring break month and a busy time at WDW. Since it's only two months away, the resort availablity is slim. SSR is a big resort, so it makes sense that that's where the availablity is.

And they have some new buildings at SSR coming online, which would also open up availability.

Ok, Thanks for the replies. I guess I should trust my brother, however, when I go to the Disney website and put in the dates I want, There is availability at all the vacation club resorts for a studio. DO they hold a certain number aside for people who don't belong to the vacation club to make reservations like a regular room? Maybe I should just book it myself without vacation club points. Thanks

Cash reservations through Disney and point reservations through Member Services are different room inventories. When a member trades their points to other locations, like cruises, Disneyland, etc. a room is taken from member inventory and is placed ni cash inventory to rent for cash to cover the cost of that trade.

Just booked our trip two days ago for the same week. There was no availability at Boardwalk. The only thing left was OKW, SSR, and a tiny bit at VWL (which may already be gone). In fact, the VWL was only available for a couple days, and not the whole week. We are doing two days at SSR and two days for VWL. I would contact MS right away.
