If I do end up scheduling my surgery at the begining of June. I will be there the entire time. :woohoo:

I hope you girls are having a great day!
I really want you to be here the whole time!! :yay::yay::yay: I was just thinking about your surgery though.......will you feel up to walking all over by then? :confused3

We can use taxis, shuttles, the monorail, etc. but sometimes just walking through the hotels can seem to take forever. We don't want you in any pain!
Although there will be plenty of bars around to help numb any pain should it arise. :rotfl2:

Wanna split one with me? :confused3

That would blow my budget for the week - and I don't think I want to do that with caviar - blech!! (It all sounds good otherwise, just not into caviar!).

However, I did spy in your photo with the bus a sign that advertised $1 margaritas!!! Aye caramba - we could get 1,000 of those for the same price :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

I think I should be ok. I am hopefully going to have it the first wk or 2 so then I will be good to go by the time head for Vegas.
I really want to be there whole time. I am sure if I am in a lot of pain, its nothing that a vicodin/precocet/margarita cocktail won't be able to handle.

Caviar---:scared:

Do people really spend that much on a sundae?? That is just crazy.

HEY!! Guess what?? I forgot to say that last night when we were driving on the Strip, we saw that they are opening a Serendipity 3 at Caesars Palace!
It's not actually in Caesars, but on the property in a separate building. They have one in New York City and I first heard about it on Oprah when she was raving about their Frozen Hot Chocolate dessert.

I think it's set to open sometime in April, so we can all go there in June!! Probably on the day we hit the Forum shops since it's right there. :thumbsup2 (we can eat there for lunch instead of the Cheesecake Factory if y'all want)

Here is a link to their website for the NY restaurant: http://www.serendipity3.com/food.htm

This one sounds good too (although I still have never been to a Cheesecake Factory!!!!). I'm cool with whatever.

I'm bummed that I'm going to miss Lucky Cheng's though - I took a look at the website and it looks like a good time :thumbsup2

And I'm still hoping that we can somehow get a couple of bottles of Magicale or Rosa Regale (I'm sure that would help out, yes???)

I am so excited that it looks like DBF and I will be spending 4 days in Vegas next month. And then I get to go back in June!!!:woohoo:

We all want you there the whole time, so I'll keep my bottle of vicodin handy for ya. ;)

Well, I think we should go to Serendipity since it's something new and as far as I know they only have them on the East coast.
As for the Cheesecake Factory, don't despair! There is one only a few blocks from Disneyland and we already talked about adding a dinner or lunch there to our next DL trip, so you'll get to do both!!

As for Lucky Cheng's.......well shoot, I think you just need to find a way to stay the whole time like Debbie. :rolleyes1

Yikes! I just realized my last post was #666:scared1:

You are just a little devilish...

I am glad you are thinking about me!!

Stacie, Harrahs has a great 72 hour sale. If you book before tomorrow they have some rooms for $39.

I went to Costco yesterday but is was so freakin crazy, I forgot to look for it. I will ask my friend to. If hers does have it, I will send you bottle.

Not sure where we are staying. DBF is making the arrangements. We are gonna visit with his kids when we go up there. So we are taking that into consideration. We want somewhere that has a decent pool, enough non adult activities, but not totally "kiddie" like Circus Circus. And we want it cheap. Looking online there were some that were really cheap, and ones that were get the third night free. But he hasn't decided yet.

Flamingo has a fun pool. It's a big area (about 15 acres) with water slides, grottos, waterfalls, and such. Not sure what the rooms are like but the grounds are nice, and there is the wildlife habitat for the kids, and Margaritaville for you.
I don't know if they have any specials but it might be worth looking into.

Thanks for the tip. We are also waiting on seeing if the kids will be on break that week or not. But the kids mom is nice about letting us see the kids when we can. She's accomodating. So at least that is a good thing.

I've been lurking but not posting a whole lot on this thread. I'm working hard to be able to come, so I don't want to put my two cents in until I'm more certain whether I can make it.
It all sounds so fun and exciting, though. I'm heading out on Tuesday-Sat. in Vegas w/DH and am so excited to be getting away! Whoo hoo! And, it's supposed to be nice and warm, so that's always a bonus.
I was going to suggest Flamingo, too, Stacie. There's always been a number of kids at Tropicana pool when I've been there. Otherwise, some of the off strip hotels, like the Orleans, have movie theatres, bowling alleys and other stuff, so that might be an option, too. And they do tend to be lots cheaper.

Actually, the Orleans is one of the hotels he is looking at. Very cheap, some of its been redone, the bowling alley is a plus, and the pool looks nice. I am leaving it up to him. He seems to like making the plans lately. It won't matter where we stay though. We get to visit his kids, and enjoy Vegas together. This will be the first time him and I go together. We have done day trips to pick up or drop off the kids, but haven't stayed and played in Vegas. It will be fun.

I have a question :hyper: For activities that we won't be participating in (massage, Stripper 101) - what do we do?? Are there things nearby that we can just go and then meet up? Am I the only one who won't be doing those? Remember, be kind - this is my first Vegas trip!!

EDIT - Hey, I'm getting Canadian ads down there now!

Gamble, baby!! I'll do the massage, but not the 101 thing, and probably not OG. I told my DH last night that he better give me a gambling limit because I tend to not want to stop!!:scared1:

Ooh, interesting news from DH just now!!! He decided to change his conference location (there are several to choose from) and now he's going to LA instead of Toronto. The good thing is that the dates are also different - so now he will not be going until July 9 :woohoo: This means I can stay for longer (shhhhh, I have not exactly told HIM that yet though). Woo hoo :banana::banana:

See you (and Amy and Jane) on Friday! :cool1:

I won't be doing the massage, so if you want to hang out while they do that, we can. :thumbsup2

But please, please, please do the Stripper 101 class!! PLEASE! I think it will only be fun with a large group. It's nothing bad, you don't get naked or anything. LOL You can wear sweats and a t-shirt. That's what I'm wearing. It's just silly fun.

Don't make me beg. I don't want to beg. But I will, if I have to. Pleeeeeeeease!!! Pretty, pretty, pretty please!!! :flower3::flower3::flower3::flower3:

I can totally respect you not doing the OG. It's not for everyone to sit and watch half naked men dancing right in front of you.

But the 101 class is just us girls. Being silly and having some fun. Do I have to beg you too?!?!?!
PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :flower3::flower3::flower3::flower3:

Question about the shows - how are we doing that? Do we purchase tickets when we are there or some time beforehand??
