Old Disney Park photos

I have a dim memory from when my son was about 3 (he just turned 34 last week):scared1: of buying Welch's Grape Juice from a stand in that area, and maybe extra tickets from when WDW used ticket books for the rides. Of course, my memory may be a trifle faulty these days!

When I was 5 we went to WDW, and I am 40 now :scared1: But I remember a ticket stand near Dumbo. But I think Dumbo has been moved since that rip. Not sure how far or from where though.

I vaguely remember the kiosk in the middle, but don't remember what their purpose was. Anyone remember?

It looks like an old ticket booth to me. Though at that point it was probably an information booth that may have sold a few small things, like that kiosk that is now by Winnie the Pooh.

wow I just looked through all 113 pics....awesome. I'll have to see if I can get some of my old ones up here!

Thank-you so much!!!! The first video was it!!! I think I will save it for an anniversary present though - Thanks again!!!

It was probably moved at some point to make more walkway space. ??
According to this 1973 park map from Yesterland.com, there were two Information and Ticket booths in Fantasyland: one next to what is now The Many Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh, and one in front of the Pinocchio Village Haus Restaurant (this booth has since been removed).

Here are some more of the big headed characters in Epcot. It must have been 83 or 84.

Can you imagine seeing these costumes hanging in some warehouse somewhere on Disney property? Spooky! Also, wouldn't it be cool if Disney did a retro day and brought back some of the old costumes? We could even dress in retro rags!

It looks to me like that kiosk is the ticket booth where you would buy your extra "A" through "E" tickets. I remember when buying an "E" ticket would be $.80. You could also pick up a park map there.

Those little ticket booths were scattered throughout the park.

My Aunt, Cousin and I with Winnie the Pooh!

We stayed off site and also visited Circus World and Sea World. Epcot was not yet open, the Ball was done though.

does anyone remember the in-room tv station that showed the Disney ad in the late 70's and early 80's? I remember the River Country portion ("It's the Kursplashinist, Kid Laughinist..." ) and the last line, the girl with the goofy high voice saying "I hope you are having a wonderful time at...Walt Disney World....Bye!"

Please tell me I am not the only one who remembers this? I must have watched it 100 times on each poly trip!

I have some pictures of the Electric light parade and others from1985. I'm new to disboards so I have to wait to post them.
