1984. My mom was pregnant with my brother so my dad 'had' to ride with me on Space Mountain since I LOVED rollercoasters. He was terrified! We went on twice before he got sick. :lmao:

I don't have a picture of that but here are some pictures I do have.
Since I was only 5 1/2 and have only been to Disney one other time I have no idea where any of these photos take place.

They don't still have this place anymore, do they????

Your guess is as good as mine, or probably better.

I know this one! A character breakfast!

Hi! That is Friar Tuck from Robin Hood.
If I'm thinking about the same photo I think you are, that's the Sheriff of Nottingham, actually.

Yes and no. Yes, it's still up there: the old Imageworks at the top of the Imagination Pavillion. No, it's closed to guests.

Kitchen Kabaret (replaced by Soarin').

She asked about two. The first was Friar Tuck, and the second was the Sheriff of Nottingham. :goodvibes

I sooo wish they'd open that back up! That was one of my favorite things! And I miss Kitchen Kaberet also. :guilty:

My parents took a trip to Disney World in the early 70's ( I think 72 ) when Space Mountain first opened. On our trip in 1999 in line for Space Mountain they show a video, I think right before you enter the large loading room. Standing there in line watching the video we saw my parents on the video. I have tried searching for the video, but I don't really know what to call it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.:worship::worship::worship:

I don't know if this will help narrow down your search but Space Mountain opened in 1975. I wouldn't know where you could find that video. You've probably already searched YouTube.

These are some I came up with on YouTube...not the best quality, but I wanted to share them with you anyway. Hope you find the right one!

I know that watching these brought back memories! :goodvibes

Notice the special flags on the light poles? Was this for the bicentennial celebration in 1976? Anyone know how long these remained? All of 1976, or maybe part of 1977 too?

They used to have international acts performing on the stage across from American Adventure. This was '83 or '84. You can barely see SE behind the dancers.

Great pic!! And notice the stage is open air. Not covered. I don't recall what year they built the roof.

Here is one from Disneyland in 1976. I'm cracking up laughing in the picture, because Eeyore had covered up my face completely and finally realized and he moved his paw. And of course this was way before Character Handlers and lines. So I guess I'm lucky that I'm the only kid in the picture.

Here are a few - I need help with some....March 1974...

Is this Main Street?? My mom has it labeled "Marketplace" in the album...

I think this might be Center Ave. which used to be on Main Street but is now part of a store. maybe?

My husband's aunt recently gave him these old snapshots from a trip they took to DisneyLand when he was four years old (1965).

I found it interesting that the CM playing Peter Pan (lower right) was a woman. You may recall that Sandy Duncan had starred in the play.
