OKW vs. Vero question

We just bought 150 points at BWV with a Sept use year. Want to purchase another 150 points and thought we wanted Vero since our kids and grandkids live only 2 hours away from there...thought Christmas might be fun. BUT it is so cold right now in Florida, we live in Tallahassee, that forget the beach in the winter! Anyway, we have found a contract frfor 150 points OKW with same use year, but only 16 points left between now and Sept. Price is $9750; we can do resale at Vero for $8850 with extra points, or we can finance through Dis and get Vero same use year, and use magical beginnings, making the cost 62 a point. Do you all think we can offer $58-59 on the OKW since there are only 16 points? Any advice would be helpful. I know everyone says buy where you want to stay, but truly we go so often that it doesn't matter where we stay, and we have paid big bucks to stay at OKW many times.

For a diference of $900 between Vero and OKW I would simply buy where I wanted to stay. After all the contract is good for the next 40 years. A few hundred dolars should not determine your choice over that time period.

I would definitely make an offer lower than the asking price for OKW if that is where you want to buy. That asking price seems high compared to other resale OKW listings that are available right now.
