OKW Pool Slide Construction Has Started

I went to work out at OKW this morning and the main pool at OKW has been closed to start the pool construction and has the usual Disney white construction fence closing off access. Being tall enough to look over the fence, not much has happened except the removal of all the furniture. The hot tub and the sauna in the lighthouse are in the closed area. Numerous signs on the fence note that the area is being rehabbed for your future enjoyment. I couldn't tell where they will have the construction gates and how they will get concrete and other heavy items into the area as the access to the area is limited for large vehicles.

The newly rehabbed basketball courts are finished and look nice. New backboards, rims, painted court and lines, and fencing.

Great! Thanks for the update. I have been stressed about that slide being done for spring break since I talked my daughter into staying there. Nice to hear it is underway...

Thanks for the update ! I'll be there the first week of November---it'll be interesting to see how the work progresses over the next 6 weeks.
