OKW or SSR at 7 months for early September?

Our trip next year is going to be a non-Disney park trip. Gonna use our DVC for our room and do other Orlando stuff (Seaworld, Discovery Cove, Aquatica, maybe Busch Gardens). We will probably enjoy Disney Springs in the evenings though, so we think we'd like to book either OKW or SSR (a studio). What are our chances at getting a studio at either of those at 7 months our from that glorious week after Labor Day? Is one better than the other? Never stayed in either. I thought I've read the studios are bigger at OKW but is it a Queen sized bed or 2 doubles??

I don't think you would have any issue getting either at 7 months.

The OKW Studios have 2 queen beds. The SSR Studios have a queen bed and a (double size) sleeper sofa.

At 7 months out for that time in Sep you can easily get studios at SSR, OKW, AKV savannna and standard view, BWV pool/garden view, BLT lake view, Boulder Ridge (a/k/a VWL), Poly and potentially BCV and BLT theme park view. OKW has larger studios with larger balconies than SSR w/two queens as compared to SSR's queen and double pull-out couch. SSR has two main pool areas including the newer one in Paddock area that has a very good kids play area. It also has some counter service places to go to besides having a main restaurant. If I wanted the second full bed, I would likely choose OKW. Otherwise, I would lean toward SSR.
