We'll be arriving at OKW on Sunday. I was just checking out weather.com and it looks like it's going to be rainy next week! Bummer!

Hopefully it will rain in the afternoons when the kiddos are taking naps.

We're going next week also. Florida ,this time of the year will have some showers, I wouldn't worry about it. They never last long. Last year same time, about the same forcast, great weather, had a few downpours to cool us off. Have a great time. Rich:Pinkbounc :bounce:

Does it say Rain or Isolated T/storms ? It is normal for Central Florida to get t/storm cells that blast thru daily with a 5 minute deluge of rain then turn bright sunny the rest of the day.

I will be at BCV next week and the forcast is as follows...

Sunday through Wednesday
Partly cloudy. Scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Lows around 70. Highs around 90.

Doesn't sound too bad!

John

The weather will be like that all the way through the summer into early fall, that is Florida in the warm (hot) months.

I'm at OKW right now. Isolated T-Storms were in the forecast all week. The only time it rained was yesterday evening for about an hour and then it cleared up. We were at MK today, crowds were not bad at all. Nothing like Tuesday when it was alot more crowded because Spectro & FITS was held that night. Planning on going to Epcot for Illuminations tonight, hopefully it willn't rain. Then tomorrow head home:( .

From above: "Scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms."

In Florida, the weathermen post that forecast starting in May, just leave it there, and then change it about November.

Yeah, in Nov. they add the word "Possible" or "Chance of".

Hey, we'll be at VWL next week. I was also a bit bummed when I checked the weather. But the % each day is less than 50, and thought the scattered showers and isolated t-storms wouldn't be near us. And a good rain often cools things down some. Could really use a rain in La. right now. We're 11" below were we should be.

Can hardly wait !!

I always make some "rainy day plans" just in case. It makes me fell better to have a strategy! We had a terribly rainy day last visit and we spent a great morning at WIlderness Lodge. We explored, look for hidden Mickeys, and had lunch at Whispering Canyon. It wa great... we liked it so much we are staying there when we go back in June.

Disney Quest is also good, or a movie or shopping at Downtown Disney. Rainforest Cafe is fun, even Epcot as you are inside a lot.

Have fun!

lsutigger2, We will be there next week as well. First time for us, usually we stay at BWV. Cant wat...

I remember On my last trip last month it was forcasted to rain and thunderstorm the entire week, like yourself I was very bummed out. But the good news was it did not rain even one drop and I was at the pool in my Speedo everyday!!!!!!!

I wouldn't worry about it. When we went there earlier this spring before we left I checked on weather.com every day. Each time it was different. Then when we got there, the forecast was different from what we originally saw before we got there. By the middle of our stay we just said the heck with it because the weather man wasn't too accurate either. Just take some of those rain ponchos with you from the dollar store in your back pack. It'd rain, sun, sprinkle, rain sun, sprinkle...lol...we'd never know what was next.
