I have always (since 1992) loved the music at OKW. Does anyone have suggestions as to CDs I could buy that would duplicate this music for me and for the rest of the OKW music fans?

Jimmy Buffet...........

I guess I was aware of the fact that Jimmy Buffet was the main artist. Which CD's would you buy or have you enjoyed?

Don't have any CD's of his but...........if you pick one up of his "Greatest Hits" you can't go wrong.:D

Here is an incomplete list of the OKW Backgroud Loop. I compiled this one afternoon at Turtle Pond back in 2000.
For filler, Harry Belafonte is the first choice. Two current tunes that fit right into the OKW mold are "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem"(Kenny Chesney) and "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere"(Alan Jackson).
The Barefoot Man Album is a double CD that has alot of great tunes, including some real humourous ones. (That's A Moray, Don't Squeeze the Tomatoes, Jeff the Muff Diver) (Barefootman.com)
There is also a web site (http://members.ams.chello.nl/tstruijke/) that features Ska or Skankin' versions of Disney music. They are performed by the sitemaster(on synthesizer, IIRC) and he encouages downloadind and distribution.

Looks like I'm gonna be burnin' myself an unofficial OKW CD tonight!!

I already put together the VWL one (which is great!), but I gotta have one of my own 'home'!! :teeth:

What happenned to " Paenut butter and jellyfish sandwiches " or is that called something else. This was a classic around the OKW pool . Have they stopped playing it?

OHHHHHHHHH ARNYVEE...... are you willing to burn an extra cd for me- like you did with WLV music? I'd really appreciate it!

Do the Villas have a different background loop than the Lodge? If so, could you post it?

Thanx,
Frank

No problem Karen, just send me a PM and I'll arrange to get an OKW CD to you.

Frank, the music that I burned onto CD for me and 40 of my closest DVC friends :teeth: from VWL included some of the songs listed on this website page....

http://wdwig.com/faq_wl4.htm

....I was able to fit over an hours worth of music on the CD if I remember correctly and the folks loved it.

Wow, I've already received several PMs regarding this. Keep 'em comin' as I love to share with my DISfriends and especially my neighbors at OKW!

Any questions, just ask. :teeth:

Thanks Arny, so the Lodge and Villas share the same BGM.
Next trip down I'm going to try and get the Boardwalk song list.

Are you saying that you'd be willing to burn a CD of the OKW music for anyone that PMs you? Maybe I'm just wishful thinking here, but I'd love that!
