Arny- I just got the cd in the mail this afyternoon and I am listening to it as I type away..... Tropical beachcomber.... THIS IS A GREAT CD Arny- thanks for getting it out so fast- just you like thought- it was here in time for me to take on the airplane and enjoy on the way down to WDW in day! YIPPEEE!! You're the best - thanks!

I've always wanted a cd of the music at OKW. My husband and I love to just hang out around the pool or the bar just to kick back and have a couple while listening to the music. The only problem is that it may make me homesick. We don't go again till May!

We checked at OKW on January 1 this year, and as I sat in the library off to the side, I heard Christmas music and then some strange sounding (to me) East Indian music? It was Hindu or Arab or something from that part of the world. Anyone else remember hearing this music?

Can't say I heard anything like that. Last trip (10/02) they were playing the new BGM. It was sort of a Xavier Cugat/Desi Arnez/Tito Fuentes mish mosh that was just awful. Sure glad they went back to the old loop.

Just wanted to make sure that I wasn't gettin' myself all excited with the music I put on the CD and then I was going to hear something different when I got there.

But I was catching up on my reading of Vacation Magic and read where they tried to change the music at OKW and the members complained so much that they changed it back to the more tropical beats. That's great that they listened!

Sounds like a great CD! I may have to get one to go with my 65 pt OKW add on!

As Liferbabe wrote, the "new" loop was short-lived, and the Head Conch heard the roar of the sea (that's us) and re-instated the Buffett loop.
BTW, if your into the OKW music and enjoy making CD's, I have 5 OKW albums (the original and four I created). I have also made albums for other resorts, BCV, Port Orleans, Poly, Caribbean Beach, and I'm working on a Xmas disc for OKW. Be glad to post the song lists.

I'm definitely obsessed with WDW music from the parks and resorts! I've got thousands of songs, background music & attraction narration recordings on my computer and on CD.

I would love to have the song lists for the other resorts!

I don't sell the music or gain any profit, just recoup the cost of the materials. So, I should be fine.
