OK! Ill see if I can help we were at okw for 7 days in april ill tell you a lil and then you ask and ill see if i know the answer! The main pool at okw has a waterslide the kids love it! The lobby is also right there along with the exercise facilities and olivias and goods to go! and the water taxi that is cool it's a nice ride at night to DTD! Pennisular is the sbus stop closest to the main building besides the hospitality house! Millers seems to be the furthest but I believe there is a lil pool back there but no snack shack! We stayed off of turtlepond rd and it was very close to the turtleshack snack shop and the turtlepond pool! the main building where they sell the souviners also has some frozen foods and milk etc... the only buildings closer to the main pool would be those directly aross from the hospitality house! or to the left of it! Turtlepond rd wasnt to far though. You hop on any bus that is going to any park and each one stops at the hospitality house which is the main building!
let me know if you have any other questions
their refillable mugs are 11.99 and you can purchase them at goods to go or the Turtle shack!

The best way I can sum it up is YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!!!
The only suggestion I have is to have a car because it is a long trek to the main bldg. if you don't and even to some of the smaller pools depending on where your bldg. is. If you have specific questions, I can answer them, but otherwise, it is a fantastic place to stay. My fav? The balcony/patio. I loved having my coffee and b-fast out there each morning...I can't ask for much more on a vacation! Plus, our patio faced a pond an hole on the golf course so I spent an hour watching golfers on tee off one morning.

When you check in, you'll get a list titled "Hank's Happenings". If you don't receive one, ask for it. It lists everything going on at OKW for the week. There are pool activities (like water sports), arts and crafts, bingo, lots of stuff.

No specific Questions.

Just real antsy:woohoo: to go.

Maybe one question; How's the breakfast at Olivia's?

OK so my DH and I are going here on our "real" honeymoon. (Our first honeymoon was short, 3 days, and spent with 60 of our closest friends and family fun but not traditional).

We are staying at OKW from Sept 7- Sept 15. We have a rental car.

I was wondering where should we suggest to stay. I don't think we will be using the food services there too much as we are going to pick up breakfast and snack foods.

Also we are stying through DVC points. I know that you do not get maid service very day but could I call and ask for fresh towels if we need them? I'm very picky and have this thing with overusing bath towels.

TIA!!!

If you're staying in a one-bedroom (or larger) villa, you'll have a full kitchen and washer/dryer in your room. If you're staying in a studio, free washer/dryer facilities are near the pools.

But in any event, yes you can request extra towels. But it will incur an additional charge (I don't recall, but it's something like $6.00).

I always ask for a water view. And depending on what time you check in (earlier is better), you may have an option of choosing which building you'll be in.

Breakfast at Olivia's is excellent. Servers are friendly and the food is good. Even though it's not on the menu, you can request a Mickey Waffle instead of pancakes.

Those activities were great! I won Bingo! The kids loved going to the pool for them especially my son because they had dancing contests and he loves to dance!!! You are all making me want to go back soon! and I cant go until at least next year!! I was just there! I love OKW it's quite and very family oriented!
