OKW gym? Is there one?

I know this may be a silly question, but is there a gym at Old Key West?

If not, can we use one of the other DVC resort gyms at no charge?

Thanks for your response as this will make a difference as to where we decide to purchase! We are currently thinking of OKW as it's usually attractive price-wise, but we want to have the ammenities that really matter to us as well!

We stayed at OKW twice (great place) but our "home" is VWL. I was very disappointed with OKW's "gym". It seemed pretty crowded and unorganized, at least at that time (couple years ago). Don't get me wrong...it was tolerable, but if you get a chance, make sure to check out Sturdy Branches at VWL...I very much enjoy the equipment and atmosphere there.

Yes, there is a gym at OKW. I have not personally used it, but the comments I have heard are that it is adequate, has good equipment, etc.

However, SSR (which is right down the street) has a KILLER gym which you can use for nothing, I believe.

I could be wrong, but I believe all of the WDW DVC resorts either have gyms or have access to gyms at the hotels to which they are connected.

I just wanted to be sure if we must stay at our "home resort" (which if we buy the contract we're looking at would be OKW) that we'd have a gym to use, as we both workout daily and it's very important to our family!

There is nice new equipment in the OKW excersise room, but it is a small space.
