OKW GV question

Okay, this is probably kind of an odd question, but here goes. I know the DVC site says that one of the upstairs bedrooms has 2 double beds and the other has 2 queen beds. My question - is the layout the same in each GV? Which room (to the left or right at the top of the stairs) would have the two queens?

We're checking in on Sunday and I want the room with the bigger beds!

We stayed at an OKW GV two years ago and our family members stated that all beds were queens, and they couldn't tell a difference. The rooms basically mirrored each other. You could also ask at the front desk or call them ahead. Also remember that OKW has two GV layouts - one is one floor and the other is two floors. They have more of the 2 floor ones and we absolutely loved it. There were 12 of us and we never got in each other's way. The GV was actually larger than our house now. Good luck and have fun! Diane

Both times we've had the GV at OKW the bedroom with two doubles instead of queens was the one closest to the top of the stairs.

The direction will depend on if you have a right side or left side GV. The room with the 2 queens will be at the end of the bridge farthest from the stairs. The room with the 2 doubles is near the top of the stairs and has a slightly different bathroom and closet arrangement.

All of the GV's at OKW are two floors. Only BWV has some that are on a single level. At HH, VB and SSR also have two floors for all GV's and Beach Cottages.

OKW has 27 GV's spread thru the resort. There is one ( in building 48) that has ground level access, but all others have the entrance on the second floor of the building. All have 2 floors in the GV though. The main floor has the kitchen, living room, dining area and master bedroom and the upper floor has the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms.

That's how it was when we stayed in the OKW GV in January.

All of the GV's at OKW are two floors. Only BWV has some that are on a single level. At HH, VB and SSR also have two floors for all GV's and Beach Cottages.

We have reserved a wheelchair accessible GV at OKW for next March and we were told that all of the OKW GVs are 2 floors. For the wheelchair accessible ones, the upstairs is not accessible.
