I have been on the waitlist for a GV at OKW this week coming since the first of the year. We had 2/1 - 2/7. 2/8 came through via the waitlist.
Today I called MS - 40 minute wait - BUT the GV was available for the 30th and 31st! last one for one of the nights - there were apparently 2 for the other night.
The DVC site did not show any availability. Two things happened to make me call.
1. The data entered was for 8 people, OKW, GV and the returns a few days ago were showing me one option - unavailable nights at Saratoga Springs.
made no sense. why not show me unavailable nights OKW or two bed options?
2. The Treehouse Villas were suddenly available today.
So very glad I called!
Now to fix the confusion over points in holding. I shouldn't have any as both changes to the reservation required additional points and were just 'upgrades' at OKW and I made a new reservation this week for the 29th. I have not cancelled any reservations. MS is looking into it.
