OKW - grocery list & coffee filter question

Hi all,
Going to be at OKW in 15 days and working on our grocery list. Has anyone done a list? Just want to make sure I do not forget anything. Also, I asked a question about coffee filters recently and someone told me that I would need 8-10 cup ones. Does anyone know the # of the package? Here, each filter box has a number such as #1, #2, #3, etc. What number would 8-10 be and would it be a cone filter or other type?
Also, what seasonings, smaller food items are included? Salt/pepper?

They are the basket type filter like you use in a Mr Coffee. I have no idea what number you would need. You could also get the prefilled coffee filters that make as much as you want and are very convenient. You will get one prefilled coffee filter (they used to give one decaf and one caf). Plus some small packs of creamer and sugar. A small bottle of dishwashing liquid. If you are in a one or larger bedroom, you will also get a small box or package of dishwasher detergent and one single load box of Tide. Paper towels are included, as are trash bags in the bottoms of the trash cans.

Salt and pepper are not included, although they used to be.....I usually bring a set of little disposable shakers- cost about $2.00; I bring them from home - they are small and easy to pack. Many items are available at the Disney general stores, but they are very costly. Soda, especially, is ridiculous - $3.75 for a 2-liter bottle of Coke! Many of the items at the Disney stores are in sizes not available to the general public, making it tough to comparison price. By any measure, though, they are costly. You may want to bring small packets of sugar or sugar substitute - there are starter supplies, but you may want to pack a little extra. As mentioned, you should have enough dishwasher detergent, but I always bring some extra laundry detergent, as the box provided is small.

NOT cone filters. The coffee baskets take standard 8-12 cup FLAT bottom filters. Like the ones used in Mr. Coffee units. They'll say "for 8-12 cups" on them.

There's no food or condiments in the kitchens. You have to bring anything you need. Other than that, the kitchens are VERY complete in the 1 & 2 bdrm villas. The studios have kitchenettes - microwave, undercounter fridge, coffeemaker and toaster.

We also bring the disposable salt and pepper shakers. I think Morton Salt makes them. I also bring ZipLocs with sugar, creamer and coffee. And if I've been collecting them (who doesn't?), I throw in those little packets of catsup, mustard, mayo, jelly, salad dressing etc. Then we get fresh stuff and everything else at the grocery store. The General Store in the Hospitality House at OKW is more expensive, but it's handy if you run out of something like milk or bread.

What you take depends on how much you plan to cook. We don't cook much, just mostly breakfast with cold cereal, danish, toast, coffee and juice. I get microwave popcorn and snacky stuff. Nothing much that isn't microwavable.

I also take ZipLocs with tablet type laundry detergent and softener dryer sheets. I like the Purex Tabs detergent for travel because they come in little packets of 2 in the larger box. And they clean well.

The coffee makers have a flat basket. They are the bigger size pot...8 or 12...whatever that larger size is. They give you one of those coffee filter packs each of regular and decaf...each filter pack is good for one pot of coffee.

We usually bring Starbucks coffee(DH's favorite),coffee filters, salt & pepper, softener sheets, tea bags. When we get to the grocery store, we buy breakfast stuff, laundry soap, room deodorizer (those little toilet closets are a little small, KWIM??? ), snacks, bottled water, 1/2 & 1/2(for the Starbucks), sugar.

The unit has dishwasher soap, regular dish soap, toilet paper & paper towels. The laundry room (in a 1BR or larger) has 1 box of powder Tide. If you need any more dish or dishwasher soap, toilet paper, or paper towels, just call & they will bring them.
