OKW extention....how will it affect new me?

We are in the process of buying a resale at OKW that ends in 2042. With all this talk about the extention of the contracts there, I'm wondering if this will affect us in any way once we are the owners. Can anyone offer any insight? TIA!

Assuming the Sellers have already declined the offer to extend , then it affects you in no way.

If the papers have not been signed - most likely as they have not been mailed yet , Disney may offer the extension to you at the $25 per point price which you could just decline or accept if you choose.
