OKW and the sheriff department on Miller Rd.

We just got back from our trip to WDW. We stayed at OKW. The strangest thing happened on Thursday. As we came back from the parks, the bus driver was stopped at the gate of OKW. They had closed Miller's Rd. because the sheriff's department was investigating something. If anyone on our bus was in building 20 then they had to wait at the hospitality house. We were in building 26 so it did not affect us. Does anyone know what happened?
I ask one of the guys at the hospitality house if he knew anything. He had just started his shift and did not have a clue. I just wanted to be aware if there had been a theft or if someone had died. I know that we were alerted when we got there about a black bear that had been reported on property.
I'm still wondering. I know that several people from that area was always on scooters or wheelchairs. Some of these people were older people with health problems. If someone finds out anything, please let me know. I don't want
names just the situation.

I beliieve that I read a report that there was someone staying there that was reported that he wanted to "commit suicide by cop" so he was apprehended at the resort and taken in for a psych evaluation.

You are right, it was due to the individual who had made threats about committing "suicide by cop" at OKW. There is a quick note about it on the Mouseplanet update this week....
