OKW add-on--Finally!!!!!

I finally got called about my add-on for OKW today!! They had a total of 251 points available in February use year. I could have any amount up to 251 points. I am going to buy 110 points, since that is absolutely all I can afford--that gives me 5 nights in a 1 bedroom or 2 nights in a grand villa I am so excited that I finally will be a member at OKW--I just love it there!!

One odd thing, though: When I was in the Dis chat on Sunday night, the group suggested that I check with a manager to be sure I was on the list, since I couldn't find out what number I was from my rep. It took two days worth of calling, but when I finally got a manager, he knew all about me and my contracts-but he didn't know anything about what I was waiting for. He asked if I cared what use year the points were in. He told me my March use year makes me #20, but Feb. was better. Now, supposedly I have been on the wait list since last August for a Feb. use year, I only actually mentioned my March use year two months ago! I just sat there stunned!! Then he said he could move me right up to #1, and by the way, which resort was I waiting for?--that was yesterday, and I got the call today! Isn't that odd, though??

I 'm going in blind--I don't even know what the cost is, and whether they can do Magical Beginnings on an OKW add-on, but I will have 110 pts finally

Cogratulations on your add-on. You will have to pay the current price of $84 for OKW.DVC will not do MB's on OKW or BWV.

Congratulations Cruella! See, I knew those Sunday night chats were useful for more than just making fun of the Zurgs! As it turns out, patience may not be a virtue after all. Now I bet everyone on a waitlist will be on the phone with a manager tomorrow morning!

The manager told me not to post to the internet, but I still think something odd went on, since he said I was #20 on my March contract, and the system had defaulted to the larger contract. Well, that was added two months ago, but where was Feb that I called on last August??? He didn't know that I was looking for OKW, either, which I would think would be something that would be listed prominently. And one day later I got a call for points, that seems really odd....

But, hey, don't look a gift horse...I got my add-on, I guess that's all that matters!

DVC will not do MB's on OKW or BWV

My guide said they would for purchases of more than 100 points.
So, I would check on this.
Cruella, I was on the wait list for exactly one year, so, you did really well, I am happy for you.
