This is my overly-planned, (by what my friends are saying is obsessive,) restaurant list. I think I've done everything I can to get as much as I can out of my trip plans, so hopefully I can get all the locations, with the times I want when I call. I'm 99.9% sure I'm not going to change a thing between now and Saturday when I call to make my ADR's. But have a look, just to make sure I'm not missing anything.

So that's it. I've been working on this plan since some time in January, and now am finally able to make my ADR's in a few days.

Most, well at least half anyway, of this restaurants are new to me. I know I have Brown Derby twice, but I loved the food the last time I was there. That, Le Cellier, Boma, Jiko, Ohana, Artist Point, Crystal Palace, Mama Melrose's, and Kona Cafe are all favorites of mine that I've been to before, all the others are going to be first-times. :goodvibes

It looks like a good plan.

I owuld plan differnelty, but we are all different. The only thing I would say is if it were me 2 sit down meals a day may be a lot, and I would have a lazy day during the day on the MVMCP nights and in 10 days I would have a rest day.

You are going to need a holiday to recover from your holiday!

Whenever I go with my family, we only do one sit down meal a day. But, I like trying new restaurants, and to me that's one of the best parts of Disney, so I almost always do two meals a day.

One day last year I actually did three meals one day. Now that was too much. ;) But being solo helps, since I can tour the parks much faster, especially now that I have TGM.

And the sit down meals actually double as a break for me. I don't usually feel the need to go back to my resort, Pop Century this time, and I can go on six or less hours of sleep, so no worries there.

And, of course, nothing is set in stone, I may very well decide some days to go back to Pop after a meal if I to get too tired. But, I always feel, and I know I'm in the minority, that I've waited all year for this trip, and I can sleep when I get home.

But, anyway, I'm getting OT. But the meals are really the only breaks I need, and I followed basically the same plan last year, except it was MNSSHP instead of MVMCP, and different restaurants. I may end up needing a break on the MVMCP nights though.

I know! I'm taking the day after I come home off from work as well for the sole purpose of sleeping.

Also, on the nights where it says "no night plans," I'll probably end up at DTD. But that's OT as well.

It seems you are doing lots of signature restaurants. I see Brown Derby twice, which isn't a bad thing at all. Flying Fish had a nice atmosphere, but burned my steak. The service wasn't fantastic either. Garden Grill has had iffy reviews for the past couple of years; I hope the menu change has improved it. WPC is, in my opinion, not great and the Earl of Sandwich is better. Instead of Flying Fish, I would do Spoodles.

Looks go overall to me as well. For me, I have to plan...I don't want to be stuck at counter service my whole trip since I could not get all the table reservations I wanted. We enjoy the table service locations...but I would ask you, are you going to be on a dining plan? If so...you really do get ALOT of food, and in that case, I would suggest that a table service lunch and dinner in the same day, might be a lot...but if you are paying out of pocket, you can adjust to your own preferences. We often have done a character breakfast later, and and early dinner and that worked nice for us.

Wow, I have a hard time planning 4 days, you did a great job!

Just make sure you budget enough time when it's dark for seeing the Osborne lights. We had to change our plans one year because our ADR was too early to really see the lights before but too late after.

We've always had great food and service at FF. The steak is char grilled over an open flame and the outside gets nice and charred but the inside is a perfect hot pink. One of the nicest steaks on property. I'd keep it.

I think you have done a fine job... if you are planning on two seat down meals a day, make sure you space them out....sometimes just too much food. I do think you have done some great restaurants and I hope that you enjoy each and every meal. :)

No, I'm not on the dining plan. I do pay out-of-pocket, since I don't want to be "limited," for the lack of a better word, by my choices.

Also, I don't know if I mentioned this before or not, and I don't think I did, but, I almost never order a full meal, like I feel I would have to if I were on the plan. I almost always have gotten two appetizers instead of an entree, and due to having no self control, dessert also. I find that that is plenty of food for me, without being too much, which I believe the dining plan would be, and then I would also have to worry about using those CS credits, when I really enjoy TS for the most part.

Thank you for both your opinions, but, I think I will stick with Flying Fish. I did consider Spoodles, but the menu at Flying Fish is more appealing to me, and I've heard many great reviews of it.

No worries there. I'll be at MGM for an EMH night, which I planned exactly for that reason. :goodvibes

Your plans look good to me. The only thing that struck me was that on a few days you have 3 parks planned. :faint: That seems like a lot - and I am a commando tourist too!
