Now i have a bunch of friends kids that followed suit...been my trade"mark" (no pun intended) for the past 13 years now. I added the "O" just for something different.

I've been playing guitar for over 30 years, high school rock star, clubbed for a while after high school, now just for enjoyment.

I don't plan on stopping, so mine's a shortened version of guitarist for life.

Listened to all of them and all are unreal. I am a Tool fan and really love the complex pieces. Think maybe drummer1616 might be a fan too. Just guessing though. My kids introduced me on to Tool... I think it is really cool for them that dad loves their favorite. Wish I could introduce someone who turned out to love them. It's real hard rock though, and not many people my age like it. DW HATES them... I was the teen who loved Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath, James Gang, etc. Just never left me. She was into... John Denver... maybe the best 12 string guitar player ever. JMHO

"Ransom" is the last name of the main character in a religious-toned sci-fi novel by C.S. Lewis (who also wrote the Narnia novels). The first books I chose and read on my own were the Narnia novels, and I loved them. So I naturally moved on to his sci-fi trilogy.

When I first went online back in the 80s, I chose the username "Ransom." I've stuck with it ever since.
