That's too funny...I never even thought of that song by The Who!
I always thought your name had to do with that Who song.

Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez...Does anyone else notice that the DIS needs a major shot of B12?Grover? LOL! No.
Did you think Grover had something to do with your name?LOL

I knew there was a Grover muppet but not a *Super* Grover one. Are they one in the same?

I guess those special people have all the bidets! We don't have them further north. Hmmmm..... no bidet and no boyfriend here and you have both. Life is just not fair:(

LOL! Jen was referring to you! LOL! Makes sense. I didn't pick up on that one because when I see your "name," I always think of a flower GROwing. ;)

LOL! Silly silly PW! I just thought YOU were a pin trader. Don't know the Pinball Wizard song. (I also thought you were a male for a long time, I think.)

SuprGro -- Sounds like SUCH a cool job. I was a little involved in theatre in high school... backstage only. When I was an architecture major, I had planned on minoring in theatre and getting involved in set design. I was just thinking today that I should look for some local theaters to volunteer with. (I was watching that show "Starting Over" where they have a woman trying to get into costume design.

I don't know what theater she applied with. I'll have to ask.

Legs -- There was a Super Grover. He wore a red cape, I think. I guess it was a segment on Sesame Street, though not sure.

CA -- sleep well {I won't use the fainty smiley for a sleepy smiley any more, PW. Don't want to confuse things. :p }

LOL! Actually, the first board I visited when I came here was the Collectors' Board. And I was hooked on collecting Disney pins. There you go...Pin Wizard. :)

Grover? No clue!

Hmmm...A bidet, but not an "official" boyfriend. However, he is definitely darling heart throb! Makes me faint!! :faint: :faint:

Hey, I'm good at this! got the Grover thing and the Pin thing. woo hoo! Don't want to guess on the "legs" thing.

Where is all the action? The thread is particularly quiet tonight. BTW we haven't seen Suzanne in awhile have we (or maybe we have and I just missed her...if that is the case forgive me for not remembering seeing you Suzanne!!!)??

SuperGro...like PW, I too thought your name had something to do with plants...i.e. Miracle Gro ;)

So tomorrow is the first day at work that "work guy" and I will be working together with EVERYONE else who now knows about us. EVERYONE does not know that I told him they all know, and they are really supposed to be keeping things quiet and not making a big deal about it...but I am just waiting for my Head Manager to open his mouth, I know he will not be able to contain himself, no matter how many times I and the other manager have warned him to keep it shut. It should be funny though now that "work guy" knows. Will like to see what he can come up with to put Head Manager in his place and get back at him for all the jokes!! :smooth:

Is it completely SICK that I am excited and looking forward to being at work at 6am tomorrow morning?? :crazy2:

Yup...pins. :teeth: You're too young to know the Pinball Wizard song. :) LOL! Must be the "Wizard." Perhaps I should have chosen Pin Wizardress! LOL! :smooth:

People!!! I can't believe the whole world doesn't know Pinball Wizard. It's only one of the best songs ever written and performed. Thanks for the great picture of SuperGrover Doc.

Perhaps you will all remember Grover from his very famous Near....................................................Far. Sketch.

Super Grover is grover with his cape and helmet on. He flys (well he tries to fly) and helps people, but just like he does with the poor blue man at the restaurant, he usually messes up. I love the Muppets. I've met most of the Muppet Show Muppets and Elmo. I've also dressed Alan who runs Mr. Hoopers Store on Sesame Street. Sometimes my job really rocks.

It sounds like your job does rock!

Hey -- do you like Legos?

Suzanne's been busy with non-dates and the such, but I think I actually might have a real date coming up. He's a couple years older than me and teaches kindergarden at a private school. Should have dinner plans sometime this week. It'll be my first real date in five years, so gals you'll need to help me with getting dressed. Hmmm....maybe shopping's in order!

Legos are ok. I used to love them as a kid. I
helped my Ex and my dad make a lego battle ship last christmas.

Oooh a real date? This calls for some kick butt shoes!

A small trip report for monday....

It was a beautiful sunny day at noon, 65 degrees and hardly a cloud in the sky. We woke up late Joey and I so thus we scampered out of the house as fast as we could to head over to Blizzard Beach. And what a wonderful couple of hours we had, hardly anybody there, only the first couple of rows were partially occupied by cars, we were about the second lane third position out, thats pretty darn close! I would say there may have been less than 1000 people total in the park, possibly even 500. And thankfully minimal foreigners, but that doesn't count for the Brits, they are pretty common around I noticed. I havn't yet hit the two top sldes yet but I did get Joey to try the Snow Stormers twice and even theToboggan Racers once, the rest of the day he went to the Ski Patrol kids area while I grabbed some sun. We shared cheeseburgers which gave me heartburn later so I decided tomorrow to hop over to Wallyworld and get a small cooler to fill up with Poweraides and multi grain muffins (I'm a health food nut, protein whey, vitamins, chicken etc diet) for tuesday, I still have 2 1/2 weeks left on my vacation here so I might as well get the most out of the Water Parks/Disney Quest Annual Pass while the weather is good.

Speaking of weather....

Why is there so many "weather experts" saying elsewhere on the boards to bring caps gloves and heavy parkas to Orlando? sure it was nippy saturday but in 24 hours its back up to over 70, it was 75 degrees at the top of the tram at Blizzard Beach at 1 o'clock today (monday) and will be for the rest of the week, I guess being home elsewhere reading posts by those (moi) they are trying to place themselves mentally back here....Okee Dokee ;)

Well anyhow thats about it, nothing exciting, nothing unusual, nothing else to say until next report.

I went to MK on Sunday and we had our winter jacket and everything. It was beautiful during the day, but as soon as the sun went down, it was COLD (by FL standards that is!)

I heard the wind messed up the fireworks show FM, I have not seen it yet, the "Wishes" I think its called.
Are you planning on visiting the parks the rest of the week?

If by any case you venture over to Blizzard Beach most likely I'll be sunning and watching over son in the Ski Patrol area, I'm wearing a blue sharkskin band Breitling divers watch on left arm, its big ,shiny and has a blue dial, stop and say hello.:D

We didn't stay for the fireworks, b/c a very important, but sad, football game was on that I wanted to watch. Was able to see the sad second half and the overtime. Yes, I need my crying towel now! Haven't decided if heading back to the parks this week or not, b/c I need to get through this nice long week first. Had a late night at work, b/c of a meeting. Have a nice meeting in town with my ex tomorrow night. And then I work late Thursday. I just need to keep telling myself that I'll get through this week!

Bummer, you sound depressed, go ahead and cry a bit, you have other friends here on the board and they are definately concerned for your well being I noticed.

And please excuse me if I just said something and stuck my foot in my mouth, thats a big reason WHY I do not make a regular posting thing on the internet, its just not me and when I do it usually almost always gets somebody peeed off. or I just misread the meaning etc. And I'm not a regular poster that anybody knows either so I just add my two cents occasionally and thats that, but anyhow I hope you are OK, cheer up?::yes::

No I really am fine! Just too much to do and not enough time. Hence why I'm sitting at my computer instead of grading the essays I brought home! I just like too do too much. Can't sit still!

Greetings, All!!

And welcome, SuperGro! I think I thought green thumb, miracle grow kinda thing. Either that or you have a new formula for hair growth!! :p Your job sounds very creative.....something completely foreign to me. I'm lucky to find one of my two pair of jeans, let alone outfit an entire theatre troupe! Share some fun stories as you go...if it's not against this new privacy law thing.

Has anyone come up against this new law!? What a mess! Can't turn around without someone telling me, "can't divulge that information, ma'am (and when did I become ma'am?)".

Was at a friends tonight, scrapbooking. Anyone else do this? I decided to tackle this phenomena. All I can say is it racks up the $$$. And me being foreign to the creative concept...uh oh. I get lots of input, solicited and otherwise.

Suzanne, keep a stiff upper lip! (Or a stiff drink...) You'll get through this week with flying colors! Must really be a bummer, having to meet with ex's. I don't know I could have done it. Keep your eye on your upcoming date! That should make you smile! :wave2:

Mr. D, I've been enjoying your trip updates! Didn't know the Water Parks were going to be such a big hit with you! Glad someone enjoys them...they make me nervous. But then I have four little fishies to keep my eye on. :earseek:

Nighty night, all!!
