PW, glad to see you are back! I enjoyed Algebra in high school, but it has been so long since I have taken a math class that I am sure you would not want any of these brain cells. Doesn't FM teach math (or want to teach math)? I bet she would have some good brain cells! :D Good luck with figuring out what you want to do with your future! And good luck with your eharmony guy. I have a thing for foreign guys - but I like them dark. :smooth:

Now where is Doc? We hope you know you are loved on this thread. ::yes::

Legs, I bet if you ask your question on the tech board they could help you make your pic smaller.

I'm the math person. Need to go take the test in April so I can teach Middle School math. Right now I'm teaching Language Arts (a fancy word for English) and I'm learning to like it. I teach math after school and completely love it. I can help PW with math! Algebra and Calc is heaven for me!

So do you get to specify what you are looking for in a man (like age, educational level, parental status)? That is one thing I really like about match.

PW & FLMinnie- What distance did you pick as the farthest away that your match might live? I picked within 30 miles. I don't want a long distance relationship. Plus I think the sooner you meet them in person the better. People seem one way in emails and different when you meet in person.

I can't wait to get home to see if I got any matches!

I don't believe you can specify age. It did ask about kids- if it was ok if the person had them and if you wanted to have more kids with the person you meet. I know one section asked something about educational level.

So the person in the Career Center had me take a test on the computer.
I did a test on my computer through a link on the FAU website- the SIGI Plus. It seemed really good at first, then I just got lost in it and never finished deciding what I want to be.

Now where is Doc? We hope you know you are loved on this thread.
She really stirred things up on that other thread.:teeth:

It does ask for ages range and I changed mine. I first did this area and then the whole country. Three are from my area and one's from Kansas. It also asked the family, no family questions and how far you've gone in education.

What thread is Doc steaming up?

Hey guys how's it going? You miss me??? ;) I miss all of you!

As Sandy said, I have been really busy, school, work, and getting ready to move (long stressful story there). But the best best best thing is how great things are going with "work guy!!!" Even though we have only been dating for 1 month and 4 days (but who is counting ;) ) things are getting pretty serious already I think. I care about him a great deal. He is so great to me. Compliments me all the time, treats me like a princess....never had that before. Sometimes I sit around and think...why is he being so nice to me...I don't deserve for him to be that nice to me...and then I realize that YES actually I probably do deserve to be treated that well, I had just never met a man before who did!!! The cat is really warming up, which is a plus as well, and last weekend we drove down and had dinner with his mother and step father, and they were great. In fact he told me that when I had gotten up to use the rest room and he was in the kitchen with her that she told him I was "cute" :)

Must rush off again, but I want all of you to know that I am thinking about you, and really hoping all is well in all of your lives. I don't know when I will be able to really spend much time here in the near future, but I will be back when I can and when I have a stable source of the internet!!!

Disney, I'm glad everything is going well. Sounds like a great guy!

I had one guy out of my four want to "get to know me better" according to Eharmony. So I had to fill out this very short ( extememely short compared to the other questions I filled out earlier today). Hmmm. Wait and see now.

Wow! Can you send me some math brain cells? :)

I had the strangest mail today! GOOD mail! I've been talking about moving to Virginia. Today I received a letter from my next door neighbor who says that his 91 year old grandmother lives pretty close...on the other side of town...and that he and his parents would feel better if she were "closer." He asked if I wanted to sell my home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ran into him outside and told him that I'm hoping to sell in the summer after school is out. He's going to check with his dad and see if that's okay!! Woooooooooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooooo! Cross your fingers!!

See these are signs that you should move. HOw is it going with your loverboy up there?!?!?

I had to go look...LOL! I checked off My Country. I did that hoping to find someone from Virginia show up! :) I see they have my photo up now. I have correspondence from Ben. :) Think I'll go read it.

I can't believe how much I miss him!! And he's just always on my mind. I can't think for school. But I really don't see anything serious with him in the near future. :worried: Timing is everything, and our timing is off. We'll see what happens. But I can't tell you what turmoil I feel inside trying to look for someone else when he's in my heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I totally missed that part. And I would have remembered doing it because I would have to give it some thought after going out with someone 8 yrs. older than me.

Is Ben from this area?

No emails saying I got a match:(

Disney845- Glad things are going so well with work guy:D

DD6 has been coughing non-stop since 5:30. I've done cough med and inhaler. Next I'm putting her in the steamy bathroom. She is still running a fever of 100.6.

(((HUGS))) PW. I bet with time it will get easier.

I went searching for the age ranges for my future matches and eHarmony is the one that determines the age ranges. I didn't get to choose this. So their range for me is 37-54.
54!!!:earseek:
I tried to change it to 39-46 and this is the answer they gave me. :( So I could meet someone who is not 8 yrs older but 13 yrs older:eek:
We're sorry. You can only decrease the minimum and/or increase the maximum age of your eHarmony matches.

Legs, that is a little wierd - and that is a very large age range. Do you mind me asking where your age falls in that range?

Wow! Look at this great forecast for NYC this weekend:earseek:
It's so unbelievably beautiful in FL right now. That's why everyone comes here in the winter. Why must we have a meeting in NYC in the winter???

Friday Night: Rain likely. Lows in the upper 30s. South winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of rain showers...then partly cloudy in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 40s.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 20s.
Sunday: Partly cloudy. Brisk. Highs around 30.
