PW, the art festival sounds like fun. I wish I could join you.

I just had lunch with a friend and now I'm off to the gym. My eight day straight of exercising! Dbf is winning by only half a pound. He left today for a job interview, so Boo is with me. I love it when I have all four dogs! When he is not here, she is my little shadow.

Is Boo the dog by herself in the photo on the right? I love that photo! Did you take it or dbf? I also like the photo you used to have up- of you and one of the dogs.

I learned my lesson after putting a piece of exercise equipment together. If you want the $55, Legs, you can put it together for me!

The art festival WAS fun!! Even DS had a good time.
And such a nice walk up and down the "boardwalk." Boardwalk? There's not one board on it! LOL! It's now all concrete. I guess it holds up better, but I like the old wooden ones. They're just building left and right on the boardwalk. Hmmm...I don't know how they'll like it when a stronger hurricane comes through. They thought last year's was pretty terrible...Isabel. I even see bumper stickers saying...I survived Isabel! Hmmm... But the handmade things were just beautiful! This one guy had the most beautiful tables! Ceramic tile and very tropical looking colors. Hmmm...could be a problem in my now "official" colonial home although you can pretty much get away with anything on the inside. Just as modern looking as my FL home was. It's just the outside of the building that looks somewhat colonial...red bricks and light green aluminum siding. How did I get to this? LOL! I just bought the tee-shirt so everyone knows I was there. Ha! Oh, yes! Stopped in the Old Coast Guard Station and let a few bucks fly out. Great place! Oh...let me put my Cape Henry magnets on the refrig. A few other things. I haven't had a fun day like this in ages. And it helped distract me from it being Father's Day. It's usually a tough day since DH and my Dad are gone. But today I successfully distracted myself.

Legs, that is Boo on the right! I love that pic so much I have considered trying to find a picture contest to enter it. Thanks for the good wishes. I hope I win too! I already have noticed a change in my muscle tone.

The job interview is in Texas, but not close to me. His residency isn't over until next summer - we have a lot to decide before then. I truly believe that whatever is best will happen - at least I keep telling myself that.

PW, glad you had such a fun time. And glad your son enjoyed the art festival too!

Sounds like you had a fun day, PW!

I paid my bills, mailed them, bought stamps, arranged hold orders for mail and newspaper while I'm on vacation, checked tires, put air in tires, filled gas tank, looked at light fixtures at Lowes, then bought dinner.
Not a whole lot of fun. But I did get to read my Oprah mag and take a nap

Legs...I just discovered naps this week! Weds. and Thurs. afternoons I couldn't keep my eyes open. Finally gave in and took naps both days. Woooooow! What a treat! I have to have the van worked on Tuesday. It's due for the 60,000 mile check.

PW: sounds like you had a good time this weekend.

Me well I stressed out enough to make myself sick. I hate when I do that, I don't have control over it. BUT I have only gotten sick this once since I have been with Chris. That is a big plus!!!!! And he helped me to calm down. Past bf's have just told me I was crazy and getting sick was all in my head. But not Chris, he understands what I need. I just need someone to be there for me and not judge me. Not someone to yell at me and tell me I screwed up. No, Chris was great, I called him because I didn't know what to do, he was in the middle of a job at work and said he couldn't talk, and just started crying, he was like ok babe, hold on, calm down, I am here what's the matter. (He took time out for me! I've never had that. Almost didn't know what it was) So I talked to him for a little bit and he calmed me down got me back to where I could think straight and told me to look for someone to help, so we got off the phone, I looked for help not that anyone was around to help me, but I tried. Where in the world did I find this guy, is this normal, is it for real?? I just can't believe it. I ask him all the time what planet he came from because I have never met anyone like him before. I love him more and more each day. Although I am still facing a very long and tough week I know I will make it. Especially since I know I have someone who cares. Is it normal for me to be scared of this?

TB: that is my fav pic too! Is Boo a chocolate lab? I want a chocolate lab. Chris wants a rot. Things with u and DBF will work out for the best. Everything always does in someway or another, I usually don't see it till later but it does. LOL Congrats on the 8 days! You can beat him I know it!!
