Okay...I've Called the Late Night DISers, Now I'm Calling the Single DISers (Part 2)

Hi, MDP! :wave2:

Sorry it's so stressful. :( Another week or so and it will be done. Right? You're lucky Chris is supportive! :teeth: :Pinkbounc He sounds like one of those rarer types. Better hold on to him. ;)

So cows have sexy noses? :confused3

Hmmmmmmmmmm...I've recently considered a particular human's nose to be nice looking, but I don't think I'd say sexy. ;) :scratchin

Pigs' snouts are even better, but I don't find too many pigs to be funny and cute looking.

Oh, other than cows I also like Krista from Top WDW 10 Attractions segment and Paige from Trading Spaces (before she became manly man)

I got a letter today from my ex-mil telling me how much she loves and misses me. I'm not sure how I feel about it. This woman has done nothing but love me over the years. When my ex left I told her it would be easier for me if we don't have contact - especially since there are no children which tie us together. Its been over a year since I have seen her and she lives here in Houston. She said my ex's brother would also like to see me. This is a young man that I literally saw grow up (from pre-school through high school graduation). I have not seen him since my ex left.

I'm not sure what to do....I was the one who went to visit her after the divorce was final last spring. He hadn't even told his parents we had officially filed.  Needless to say, she was quite surprised and upset. I know she still has hopes we will get back together. Maybe it would be good for her to see how well I am doing. Maybe that would ease her guilt - if that is what some of this is about.

Any suggestions? Maybe she would get angry with me if I told her I joined match the month after our divorce was final! :p

Do YOU want to see them?
I still see my x-MIL because her oncologist is in my building. She asks for me when she is there for an appt and we visit. It is a little awkward. I have to make sure I don't say anything that I don't want to get back to my xh.
I still see and talk to my sister-in-law. She was at my birthday dinner last Mon. night. Some people there commented on the fact that we still saw each other even though I was divorced from her husband's brother. (Her husband doesn't even want to speak to his own brother who is my ex). She made some comment that the divorce didn't affect her relationship with me. Still thinks of me as family. BUT I learned Fri. from a close mutual friend of ours that she had a birthday dinner at home for her husband Thursday night. The mutal friend was there but her family- meaning me and dd (her niece) were not there:rolleyes:

:wave2: FatCow Goodluck on finding a case for your phone, they have nothing for mine either. :( LOL LOL :rotfl: PETA!!!

You're welcome for the help ...

What kind of phone do you have? I just found a fairly nice (and reasonably priced) case for my i730. (I liked the clip that came with it, but it kept dropping the phone) The local Nextel dealer around here has a pretty nice selection of cases, I can take a look for you if you're desparate.

Wah! Wah!:(
EG had something come up at work and had to cancel our Thurs. lunch date. Now I kind of know what you feel like, PW.

I have a V600. All the cases I've found have one or more of the following problems.

1. Phone can't be closed properly so the backlight is almost always on (wasting battery life)
2. Inner plastic is of bad quality making reading the LCD panel almost impossible
3. Belt clip is the non-swivel kind
4. Phone can't be charged with the case on (I need to charge the battery once every 3 days max, I talk about 2000+ minutes per month plus e-mailing, SMS, picture taking, file transferring)
5. Can't really use the camera (case blocking the camera)
6. Event status light area is covered so I can't tell who's calling just by glancing at the phone from afar.
7. The case is making the phone so dang thick.

So sorry, Legs! :( It stinks when that happens. But lunch last Monday was great! Can't wait for the next one. :teeth: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc It will be a while though.

TigerBear...that must be difficult. Especially if you like your former in-laws. I can't imagine.

What manufacturer is it? I had a Motorola I LOVED! Now I have a Sanyo that I hate. :( My problem was that I moved to another state, and Cingular isn't in this area. :( I think ntellos has the phone I used to use...and maybe Verizon. Hmmm...people around here don't seem to be too happy with Verizon.

Actually, I bought the Motorola V600 from Cingular. I like using anything GSM because most of the providers around the world uses GSM. Therefore, when I go outside the country, all I need to do is buy a prepaid GSM phone card, put it in my phone, and off I go yakking.

Verizon uses CDMA (at least according to my friend who works there), such an old technology it's a joke. Please tell me I'm wrong about Verizon Wireless. (I think I'm right, though, I haven't seen a Sanyo phone that's not CDMA)

I'm canceling my contract with Verizon and I just bought a new phone with At&T...love my new phone.

Leggs...congrats with your DD...Brianna did an awsome job. The little kids were so cute on stage.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE

Have A great day all.

I had a Motorola i720 I think it was. GREAT PHONE! My Sanyo doesn't seem to do even half of what my Motorola did. I've got this through Sprint. Boooo hissssss!! I want Cingular back!!!!!!
