Brother is getting married in Nov. 2005...apparently he and his fiance asked DD to be a flower girl...forgot to ask me about it....now DB is paying for the dress...gota love it...My computer problems keep coming. Lost my cable modem Saturday morning and just got it fixed with a new one this afternoon. HOpefully that will be the end of my computer woes.

Thanks, Legs. I'm keeping an eye out for that infamous, HORRIBLE ring. Web MD says it's usually within the first 48 hours. I'm saying prayers I don't get that. Two friends have it. One of them has it severely. She lives on antibiotics. Her husband and oldest son also have it. The only one who doesn't is her little one. Her oldest son was even in the hospital with brain swelling or something along those lines because of it. He's fine now. Well, as fine as can be expected with that disease. Of course I read WebMD after the fact. After I had already gotten the thing in an alcohol swab, threw the entire thing down the garbage disposal because it wouldn't die, turned it on, and ran the hottest water I could. Then I read the part about taking it and putting it in a jar with alcohol to be "identified." The dang thing bit me twice.

Did someone say HOT? It's been terrible here...and humid! And about half an hour ago, the electricity went off. Augh! Electricity is much more reliable in FL! Don't know what it is up here.

Guess I better drop my tax return in the mail. Hey! Being a student has finally paid off! It's the first year in AGES I don't have to pay! Paid every year since I got married. Always had a refund when I was single. But this is the first I don't owe and I don't get a refund. I can live with that. Now...for the killer accountant's bill! I better call a temp agancy for sure.

Something is wrong with my DSL modem, atleast I think that is what is wrong. I am at school right now, I was going through DIS withdrawls. LOL

This weekend.... I worked all weekend (the wonderful world of retail!) But Saturday night Chris and I and some friends went to the demolition derby! YAY! It was so much fun. (I am such a redneck LOL) "You might be a redneck if your first official date is a Demo Derby" Yes this is actually our first date, we have been dating for exactly 1 month today but we just haven't had the time or moeny to just go out all the time. Spending time together at home is much better and cheaper! Sunday Ugh, lovely T.O.M. came to visit.... OWE! OWE! OWE! This is the worst one I have had in years! OWE! Had to doubled over all day. But seemed to be better today.

Ok back to school work now.

Can I scream now!!! Today I got an eHarmony match that's young! Only 48 ha ha and he's only 20-30 min away from me! He sounds perfect. And no motorcycles. But----- he put me on hold because I don't have a photo posted AAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!
Remember how my photo was too big so I couldn't upload it so then I tried to email to eHarmony for them to post and they couldn't open the attachment? I finally snail mailed my photo to them this past Saturday. Should be posted any day now. I can't communicate with him. So.....in the space where you type your profession I added a message that I mailed my photo and should be posted any day now. How's that for desperation!

I just checked eHarmony and my photo is now posted. Finally I have a photo! I just missed that new match seeing my photo by less than 24 hrs! I've never had any match take action as fast as he did. I hope he checks back.

Legs, I hope he checks back too! At least he just put you on hold and didn't close you out. Eharmony still seems so complicated to me...

FM, I get less than four weeks off during the summer but I do know what you mean about the down time making it so hard to go back to work when school starts. I always think about trying to schedule my days (work-outs, walking dogs, cleaning, studying for whatever is before me) but it never seems to work out. At least dissertation is no longer hanging over my head!!! Now its studying for my licensing exam, but I'm actually looking forward to it in some wierd way.

PW, have you talked to a temp agency yet? After my mom retired she worked for a temp agency and had a couple relatively long term positions she enjoyed. Good luck!!

FF, I looked at the moon last night but all I thought was "it looks full"! LOL! Maybe the lights in Houston subdued the effect of Red Moon. What did I miss?

That is funny!!! I don't even really know what happens at a demo derby - big trucks run over cars? I recently saw an IMAX movie on car racing and learned so much!

My guy and I eat out so many times a week that I am actually tired of eating out! We both enjoy cooking so I'm not sure why we don't do it more. I think maybe I should get a new cookbook! Does anyone have any recommendations? I might see if 30 minute Rachel Ray has one out.

I think having my photo posted is making a big difference in the guys wanting to communicate! This could be fun having more than one guy!

I really don't want to start something here but on the other hand I think the experience of communicating and dating will be good for me. I think it helps me a lot emotionally. Who knows when this Melbourne job will come through, if ever? Should I just sit here not dating just in case I might move? It might be another year or two before I get a job there. I called the Melbourne job and left a message about 10 days ago and he has never called me back I really feel like they are giving me the run around. It sucks!

No kidding? I'm glad you are getting some hooks thrown after you! That is so exciting!!! I know HG is the Harley guy, but which one is PG? I don't think you should put your life on hold since there is no immediate plans for you to move. At least you could have some fun!! In my experience, limited though it may be, a lot can be learned from dating - even if you only end up meeting the guy once. I can't wait to hear how things go for you - I wish you the best Legs!

My transcript finally arrived today. Even though I knew I turned everything in, it was nice to actually see my degree officially in print for the first time. How does Dr. TigerBear sound?
