Okay...I've Called the Late Night DISers, Now I'm Calling the Single DISers (Part 2)

Woo-Hoo!!! A Harley Man!:bounce:

That reminds me of my aunt, she wouldn't date anyone who didn't have a Harley, weird. But hey a girls gotta have her standards right. Ironically she found one who did and he sold it to help pay for the house and wedding.... hmmm kinda makes ya think doesn't it. LOL

Chris wants to get a chopper, I told him I wanted a bike of my own, he said he would rather have me on the back of his, I told him they don't make two seated choppers, he was like they will do anything for a price, I guess he is right about that. :) Either way is cool with me but I still want to know how to ride.::yes:: :moped:

Didn't go out tonight, glad I didn't I have to be up @ 6. Yuck. So thisa is goodnight all.

Legs...what's going on with the guy in the Keys? Anything? Has he written back yet? Harley man...I'd like to go for a ride! :teeth: :moped: It's been years since I was on a motorcycle. What fun!!!!! :teeth:

MDP...Go for the bike. LOL! :moped:

The guy on FL west coast, HG (Harley Guy), has answered my questions and sent me some. That was quick! I just sent them last night. I haven't looked yet. Haven't heard from PG (Pilot Guy).

Being a Safety Sally means I'm not crazy about motorcycles. They are so dangerous. In a car or whatever vs. motorcycle- the motorcycle is gonna lose.

Hmmm...maybe PG is flying around. I haven't heard from military guy yet either. But I'm not giving up. :) Oooooooooooooooooo...look at HG's questions. It should be interesting to see which he chose to send you. ;)

Yes, motorcycles are dangerous no matter how safe you try to be. You can't control what another vehicle does, just what you do.

I looked at HG's answers which I liked:D and he sent me 5 questions that I answered. Haven't heard back yet.
If he wants to ride his Harley, fine, go right ahead. I'll watch.:teeth:

Today I helped dd clean her room since I couldn't see the floor:eek:
Then we went to the park, got an icecream, got groceries, and a few videos. Never made it to the beach. I still don't know what I'm doing tomorrow that is "out of the box".

My ex had a motorcyle. He used to take me to school on it. One day I ended up in the student health center because I burned my calf on the muffler. OUCH! No one there even had to ask me what happened - they had seen it so many times before.

"Out of the box"? What about renting a limo and taking a nice scenic ride?

You liked his answers...that's GREAT! :Pinkbounc

Out of the box days can be fun. Nothing interesting here today. We went and played racquetball this afternoon, then took a drive around. I love finding backroads to places. :teeth: I should get a paper tomorrow morning and see what's around. There's always lots of things to do. Yipee! :)

OUCH is right! :scared1: Hope it wasn't too serious.

Not too bad although I still have a slight scar. I had to go to the health center every day for a week for them to clean it. Not fun.

I would love to be able to play raquetball - I belong to a gym but unfortunately they don't have any courts. I'm actually considering giving up my membership. It is always so crowded when I go. Doing exercise tapes is so much easier. But it is a way to get out of the house...

Yup...I stay away from the Y early mornings and after 5. I usually stop there after dropping DS off at school, after school if we both go, or late afternoons on the weekends. Those times seem to be pretty empty. Although if I went 9ish on weekdays it would be better. But it's just easier to go directly there. Sometimes stop by Starbucks first for a latte. Yum! :)

OMG! I went to a memorial service today for Memorial Day. DHT gave a speech and was WONDERFUL! :faint: :faint: :faint: Through the afternoon, there were definitely glances going back and forth. :faint: :faint: :faint: And I definitely felt something! :faint: :faint: I hope he felt it too. It was just a little too unbearable for me when we met up at the water station. What a GREAT day! :faint: :faint: :faint: Can someone pick me up off the floor please! On the drive home, I felt like the cat that got the canary. And I kept finding myself thinking...I'm on the right highway, right? LOL! Thought maybe I had turned off by mistake and would end up in Norfolk. LOL! What a day! I'm grinning from ear to ear. :teeth: :faint: :lovestruc :lovestruc

Wow, PW, it sounds like you had a really great day!:D
I hope it works out between the two of you.
Was it one of the speeches in front of 5000 people?

Legs, did you have your out of the box day?

We went to the lake with some of my work friends. God it was hot!! I enjoy boating, but can't imagine doing it that often with the Texas heat.

Out of the box= South Palm Beach/Manalpan, right on the ocean, enjoying appetizers and fruity rum drinks with great friends. Beautiful weather. From there two of us went to listen to reggae music at a open air bar on the intercoastal. That was jam packed. Plus people arrive in their boats. There's just something I love about the look and sound of those big cigarette boats or maybe they call them scarabs? I just want to go on one and tell them to floor it (can you say that on a boat?). I wish HG had one of those instead of a motorcycle:teeth:
It doesn't sound out of the box but we had a really nice time.
Today I went to see The Day after Tomorrow. It was ok, what I expected. Great special effects! and a not so good story line.
Now I am watching As Good As It Gets with Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton. Great movie! I love it!
It was soooooooo hot today!

I did have a GREAT day! Haven't had one like this in years! :faint: Works out? You just never know. ;) He sent me an e-mail before and said he was glad I was there. :teeth: No, this wasn't a 5,000 people speech. Not sure when they are. He had two others weekend. Said he got home and wrote three more...has 2 speeches tomorrow and one next weekend. :faint: But he was as cool as a cucumber delivering it! It seems to come easily to him.

Sounds like a great day, TigerBear! It was hot here also. I got a little lost and ended up at the beach. Ha! Everyone's in bathing suits and shorts, and here I was in jeans. Looked a little out of place. ;)

Hey, Legs! Sounds like you had a really good day, too! Maybe you can get HG to trade the motorcycle for a ciggie boat. ;)

Hello everyone!!!

Memorial Day was nice, although extremely crowded. For anyone who knows the Jupiter area, we were at Dubois park just off A1A where the inlet meets the ocean. This crazy spanish family were next to us, and they had brought all their own weird instruments to play along with their way-too-loud-music. One of the men was a real hoot. He was bald and had a slight tummy pouch, and serious man breasts. Well he had this crazy wig he would put on that looked like road kill. We had a fun time laughing at these people, who started drinking at 8am!!!!! And hadn't stopped by the time we left at around 5pm!!!

Tomorrow I am making final my deal on buying a car. Don't know if I kept you guys up to date, but my transmission issues were going to be $2700, so I nixed getting my old car fixed and am buying a different one.

WG and I are talking about putting in a pool....hmmmm.....don't know if it will happen, but maybe.

My two good friends who are getting married have set dates!!! One is Oct. 9th and the other is March 16th (?? I think!!). My best friend decided not to have anything really big, so they are havinig no attendants, in fact they have only 5 people who are attending who are not family. The bride is asking me and WG along with another close friend of ours from Maryland, and the groom is asking his 2 best friends. I have to be honest that I am so bummed about not being a bridesmaid, I was really looking forward to it, but I understand, they just don't really have the money and would rather take a nice honeymoon and buy property to build a house on. WG says I shouldn't be upset b/c I get to be something better than a bridesmaid soon...I can be a bride and have a big ol' wedding of my own!!!!! :)
