Had a bad bad night last night. DD went with her father for her first overnight. I went out with a friend and her husband to dinner and a movie. The hard part was coming home and her bed was empty. It just broke my heart. I think next time, which right now isn't in the near future, I'll plan a night out of the house all night.

Thanks, Suzanne! If only the banks can get their acts together! I'll be chasing after them both at 9 a.m. Monday morning. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Bet you we end up NOT closing on Monday because of them. I'm betting on Wednesday or Thursday. Hopefully Wednesday. If it happens before then, it's a miracle.

The empty house is a killer. Whenever DS spent a night at a friend's house, my house seemed huge those nights alone! Hated it! I couldn't wait to get him back in the morning.

YES, I'm reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally happy with it! It's a townhouse...a single family is not for me. I'd be spending a ton of money to have someone landscape it alone. In FL I had a villa...two to each building. Now the townhouses have four to a building. That's fine with me. No, I highly doubt that I'll be in on Monday thanks to the banks!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! They need to get their acts together.

Thanks for the about the job hunting, MDP!! I'll need it! Let's hope the job situation here isn't as tough as the house hunting! I was extremely lucky to get this place.

It's been a while since I've read any posts, but just went back 3 pages to see what's what.

PW....Congratulations! I hope your close goes smoothly and you feel settled in no time. Sure hope Richard adjusts quickly. It's tough being the new kid so close to the end of the school year.

Suzanne....wish I could give you a hug, Girlfriend. If we were closer, you'd be welcome to hang w/ the princesses and me any time you wanted.

Well, I might sound desperate here, but I read the latest Entertainment Weekly and they had an article on Jen L. from "Average Joe: Adam Returns." They offered an e-mail to see if you want to date her. I figured, what the heck, why not try. She may be 9 years younger than me, but at least I should try. Now I sound desperate and pathetic.

Glad you had fun, MDP! I had a cup of coffee around 10 and finally hit the sack at 5 a.m. Still laid there looking at the clock at 6 a.m. Up at 9:15 a.m. Wonder what time I'll be up until tonight. Sleepless nights are nothing new for me, but usually I'm out for the night by 2:45 a.m. Tomorrow I have to harrass the banks to get a move on it so I can close! I'll be on their door step at 8:45. They don't open until 9 a.m.! That's awfully late!!!

Nah ya don't sound desperate or pathetic, just trying different angle. I've come up with a new goal with men. My goal is to have a date for my brother's wedding which is Nov. 17, 2005. That gives me about a year and a half to find a date!

DD's father picked her up today and has her overnight. The house is really quiet!
I saw the movie "The Passion" today. It really blew me away. I had to go to the grocery store after the movie and it felt like I was walking around in a daze.
I have tomorrow off work. I really need it mentally plus I have a job interview in Melbourne.
I can't believe it's now been FOUR years since I got divorced I seem to have a hard time with it on the anniversary. Sometimes I feel like I'll never get over it.

Hi, Vicki! Thanks for the good wishes. LOVE the area, but today I've reached my breaking point with staying in hotels!!! Tuesday will be 2 weeks. Aaauuuugghh!

Thanks, Suzanne! Banks are the pitts! I'm getting grief from both of them. On Friday I was physically in the seller's bank. They didn't want to do a wire transfer because I'm not a customer of theirs...HELLO!...I want to DEPOSIT into an account at your bank, not withdraw!! Had my bank in FL on the phone. They don't want to do a wire transfer over the phone since anyone in the world could be calling. I can understand that. We're working on it. Keep the fingers crossed! Thanks!

While I couldn't sleep last night, I was applying for a job online. It would be great if it works out. It's a company I'd really like to work for!!!!!

That is so cool!! At first I thought she was a little annoying, but she definitely grew on me. And then when she started crying and saying how she wasn't as pretty as the other girls, but there is more to her than just her looks my heart completely hurt for her. Genes ARE very unfair! I hope you get the date Barry.

LOL Suzanne! That is so far off who knows what will happen by then - you might be planning your own wedding.

I don't think it is at all unusual that you still have a hard time with the the anniversary of your divorce. I thought about my first anniversary A LOT! Months before it actually occurred.
