Okay...I've Called the Late Night DISers, Now I'm Calling the Single DISers (Part 2)

My classes go in Quarters, we go for 11 weeks. Then I get 2 weeks off woo-hoo!

FL::MinnieMo I am so jealous that you get to go to WDW so soon. I just want to be down there.

My Dad is thinking of renting a RV and driving me down, because my step mom doesn't like to fly, plus it is a little cheaper then all 4 of us flying. I love my Dad, I am going to miss him lots. I will miss the rest of my family that I am close too also. But they can always come visit right.

Legs & TB: I have friends who live in SA, they might be moving again though this July. She is in the Air Force. They are hoping for Germany this time. Last time they were in Phoniex AZ.

TB: My Aunt and Uncle live right out side of Dallas, in Prosper. I have never been there but would like to someday. If I ever get down there I'll let you know. ::yes::

PW: I sure hope that you can connected again soon. We'll miss you. But if you are anything like me, you will find someones line or computer to use. :)

Jenn: We miss you.

Barry: Hope you had a great time in TX.

Where's FF? (probably in WDW... AGAIN) :rotfl:

I'm doing a big PW WoooooooooooooHoooooooooooooooooo!!! right now. I just heard from my Mom. My brother who has been in Iraq with the 82nd Airborne, is now in Kuwait waiting for a flight home to the states. What a great present for his 23rd birthday on March 20.:jumping1:

Thanks, MDP! I'll find a way to get connected if I have to unplug the phone in my hotel room! :teeth:

Thank you, Legs! And congratulations on your brother coming home!!! You're right! It's a great birthday present for him. :) How long has he been over there?

I feel like a ping pong ball today. I've been up, I've been down. I've felt good about the move, and I've cried about the move. I think it's the right thing, I have no clue if it's the right thing! :faint: It would be sooooooooooooooooo much easier if someone could just tell me what to do! LOL!

PW: I feel the same way about going to FL. Only I don't leave till August. You'll be fine, and if you don't like it you can always move back to FL. :)

Legs: CONGRATS!!!!!! THAT IS AWESOME!!! One of my best friends in high school just got back too!!! I was soooooooo happy when I heard.

Ok so the other day I found out that my ex might be taking his Honeymoon in WDW. :( I'm not too keen on that. That's like the turning of the knif e he put in when I found out he was getting married. OH WELL.

My dad called on prices for RV's $3000!!! That's crazy. So he is thinking up other ideas. Who knows what it'll be. But I know I am going. YAY!!!! :bounce:

Hope everyone is well.

Goodnight.

PW -- good luck. Did you figure out the dog situation? I wish I owned my house and could keep them for you until you got settled. I've been thinking more about buying a house. I'm sure y'all will have some good insight for me. :)

Legs -- that is awesome! congrats to him!

MDP -- you have no reason to be jealous! no vacation to disney is as great as working there, believe me! YOU are the lucky one! can't wait to see you down here!

Hi everyone else!

Thanks, MDP! Believe me...I'll be trying to NOT move back to Florida. I already did that in 1995. Ha ha ha! :teeth:

Thanks, Jen! I'm no longer going to stress over finding a hotel that allows dogs on the way. I have no clue where I'll be when I stop for the night. I just want to stop by late afternoon I guess so that I can get the pups boarded for the night before they close. Then DS and I could have an adventure wherever we are and stay the night. :) Still looking for apartments. Hmmm...realtor up there must be busy. Haven't heard from her today. Worse comes to worse, it's us in a hotel for a while and the pups boarded. She does know a good vet with boarding she said. All females working there! My pups will love it! They're a bit skiddish with men. Ha!

The packers are here and they are packing! :earseek: :earseek:

Yes, it does, Suzanne...finally! :) This afternoon on the drive to pick up Richard from school, I actually felt a grin appear on my face! :) With all the talk going on about the move but nothing much being done, I think it was very overwhelming. Since they were packing, something was FINALLY being done! It feels great!! :) And since then, I've been happy about this move. Let's hope it stays that way! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

So here I sit among the boxes typing away on the laptop. Ha! I miss my regular computer already. But I have to say it's much better typing on the laptop that on my cell phone! :teeth: Earlier this evening I wanted a cup of coffee. Headed into the kitchen, looked on the counter and realized the coffee pot is packed! :( Didn't get my coffee. I guess in the morning I'll be RUNNING to Starbucks for a latte. :)

Just wanted to say goodnight. LOL Yeah I went out. Had a good time, I will regret it in the am. I have to work.

This may sound weird but I hate when 2 guys fight over me. That almost happened tonight.

Oh men (or boys) whatever you want to call them. LOL

Anyways goodnight.

Suzanne, any news on DG? Or are you enjoying the world right now?!?

MDP, I can't say that I've ever had two men fight over me. At least it was an almost fight. ;)

Hope the packing and moving is going well PW! I love your spunk! :D The only moves I have ever done were quite planned. A part of me would just love to take off though - I could go anywhere I want to go. Hmmmm.....

Legs, Happy Birthday to your brother!! I can just feel your excitement!! :Pinkbounc :bounce:

NO I'm still here. We leave tomorrow morning and I'm not even packed yet! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH! Did find a cute swimsuit today to wear this week by the pool. Now I need to go do laundry so I can pack.

DG I think is history. He's been MIA the past three days and I don't know why and right now don't have the time to find out.

I'll write more tonight before I leave. HOpefully I won't be pulling all of my hair out!

HI GUYS!!!!!

Did ya miss me????

I missed all of you. I know I have been absent so much lately that you guys all but forgot me no doubt, but I haven't forgotten about all of you. Haven't been to this new thread...I love it, we were so popular that the upper level exes, had to shut down our first little thread!!!

Anyways, as always I am going, going, going. Had spring break last week, but all I did was work overtime :( Oh well, at least my bank account was happy!!! ;) Things with work guy are beyond wonderful. It has been almost 3 months now...wow, doesn't seem that long, but on the other hand it seems like forever (in a really good way). I'll let you all in on a teny tiny little secret....I think this is it....the one...whatever you want to call it. I am completely in love. In fact, ok please don't banish me from the "single's" group but, we have even talked about that big old M word. I know it seems very soon, and I was hesitant to talk to my best friend about this, for fear she would would tell me I was losing my mind, but all she said was how great she thought he was, and how great she knew I felt with him, and how her parents got married after only knowing each other for about 3 months and were married for about 25 years (until he suddenly died of cancer :( ). I mean we aren't talking about doing it anytime in the near future...I still have a ton of stuff I want, scratch that, NEED to accomplish as far as my schooling and career are concerned. But in a few years I can honestly see my self as a wife, and workguy is most definitely husband material!! I keep realizing how easy it would have been for us to NOT get together, which makes me think that we were perhaps meant to be...even though I am not sure I believe in all that fate, soul mate, destiny, predetermination stuff.

I mean how could I get rid of a guy who went to the store at 10pm at night after working all day and bought me roses, chocolates, and the sweetest card, because he knew I was home with a tummy ache. I really love puppies, and he knows this, and the card had this dalmation on the front with puppy dog eyes and he was looking at the sky. It said "You know how big the sky is?" and on the inside it said "I love you more than that!"

Other than my very best friend, you guys are the second (collectively) to know about this. Any thoughts???

MDP...you're posting at about 4 a.m. after being out all night? :earseek: I would be hitting that bed! LOL! Hope you did okay at work today.

FF...Welcome back! :wave2:

TigerBear...Spunk? LOL! Thanks. :) My best decisions are quick decisions. If I end up thinking about something too long, I know it's not for me. Now that things are packed and my house looks like a maze of boxes inside, it's starting to feel right! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Tonight I actually got ticked at the buyer and called my realtor. I'm already getting mail addressed to HIM at MY address! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...told the realtor that the guy needs to tell the post office to hold his mail and that I'm ready to mark them "return to sender."   It's not his home! I didn't receive any money yet. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr! What nerve!

Suzanne...Good luck with the laundry and packing. :) The packers packed my laundry soap already! :earseek: I still have stuff to wash! DG might be history? Wasn't he going away a few days for his job? Maybe he's gone because of that.

Disney845...Hello, stranger! :) The "M" word? :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

No, we didn't forget you. And yes, we missed you. :D
I think I knew from the beginning when you were giving us details that this was something really special. He sounds like a really great guy. I know where you're at. Being in love is the best feeling in the world. It's such an incredible high. I'm very happy for you. :D
I think it's wise that you're not getting married right now. It takes time to really know who a person is. Take your time and enjoy!

I agree with leggs....take it nice and slow and get to know each other. He has sound wonderful since the beginning though. Wish you both the best of luck! Glad to hear from you!

PW... DG doesn't go out of town until Monday. Whenever DD comes into play where she comes before he does, he goes off and pouts which is what he's doing now. Don't have the time or patience for it! He's 38 years old! Give me a break. So, looking for a new guy this week. I have the swimsuit for sitting by the pool this weekend. Tried finding a more conservative swimsuit, but the Gods just wouldn't see it that way, so ended up with a two piece. Still doing laundry. I didn't think we wore THAT many clothes!

Suzanne...My advice is RUN! I dated a guy for a while after my husband was gone about 8 months. DS was just an infant at the time. Any time I needed to do something for baby...change the diaper, feed, etc., I noticed that he would always try to get my attention. No guy stands a chance against a child, a baby especially! They really need to grow up. If they compete against a child, they are going to lose EVERY time!

That all I've been doing is running away from guys lately. This is now the third this month! First was a pool builder who wanted to know what he had done b/c I didn't e-mail him back right away. I was busy with work and DD. Detective guy. And now an attorney from here in Tampa. He gave too good to be true answers to the open questions and then when we started the open communication he wanted to meet me right away. Nah I don't think so. Plus he hasn't dated in 9 years, because he's just been to busy. Now I haven't dated for five years, but then I have more reasons why than I've been too busy. No wonder why I didn't date for five years. This is too much like a job!

I agree with you, Suzanne. Dating is a lot of WORK! Sheesh! If it's that much work, then I'm not interested. Could it be that it's just those people are wrong? If it's a good "match" so to speak, wouldn't things flow easier and not be so much work? That's the way I see it. And experienced it when I've thought it was right. Hmmmmmmmmmm...
