Just thought I'd share what we have booked:

This is me, my son, his wife, and two grandchildren who will be 5 and almost 2.

Day 1: Dinner at Akershus
Day 2. Dinner at 1900 Park Fare
Day 3: Dinner at 50's Prime Time
Day 4: Dinner at Raglan Road
Day 5: Dinner at Crystal Palace
Day 6. Dinner at Boma
Day 7: Lunch at Whispering Canyon
Day 8: Lunch at Le Cellier (because we couldn't get dinner)
Day 9: Dinner at Chef Mickey's
Day 10: Breakfast at Ohanas and then we fly home!

Any comments? We've eaten at all of these before except Akershus and the Ohanas breakfast.

But are trying Boa and Ohana on our Dec trip. Never had dinner at Crystal Palace, only lunch a few times.

LOVE 1900, LOve Chef Mickey's!

Ohanas breakfast is wonderful. Our whole family enjoyed it. Character interaction is great and they spend alot of time with you. :thumbsup2
Have a great time!!!!

Day 3: Dinner at 50's Prime Time -- One of my favorite, must-dines on every trip!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
Day 5: Dinner at Crystal Palace-- One of my favorite, must-dines on every trip!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
Day 7: Lunch at Whispering Canyon-- I tried this in 2003 and thought the food was great!
Day 8: Lunch at Le Cellier (because we couldn't get dinner)-- Have always had good food & service here
Day 9: Dinner at Chef Mickey's-- One of the worst meals I have ever had on WDW property. :furious: The food and service was awful. Won't go back for dinner again. :sad2: Would change it to breakfast.

Hmm, I'm a little worried about this now. Anybody else have a bad experience there?

Could it have been timing? Our ADR is for 5:00 - my thinking is that at the earlier times, the food on the buffet is a bit fresher and the staff less tired. I know I hear some negatives from people hitting the buffets later in the day.

I loooove dinner at Chef Mickeys...as does the rest of the family! We do it every time we go. In fact in Feb they want to do it again and I am trying...with little success... to get them to try something else. I love the food choices. And the dessert choices are GREAT. And the kids (ok the grown-ups too  ) LOVE making cupcakes with Goofy after dinner!

I've had dinner at Chef Mickey's... many times. It's sort of a first-night tradition. It's so much fun. The food's pretty good, and it was such a great atmosphere. CM is a great way to meet the Fab 5 (I think they have the Fab 5?) without the long lines and the heat.

You got some good choices, have a great vacation.
