I want to spend the next 6 weeks of my life GETTING HEALTHY! To do that I will have to lose weight, eat right and EXERCISE!!

I challenge ALL of you to keep up with me! ;)

How healthy can we get in 6 weeks?



Are YOU up for the challenge?


Heres how it works.

EVERY day, post here how good you were! I want to hear details people!!!
Did you exercise? Did you eat right? Did you have a good attitude? Did you laugh?
All of these things are condusive to health, so make sure you do a little bit every day!

Watch out world! here we come!!

I will try it with you! I want to lose this month for sure, so between the Mother's Day challenge and this, I could have a lot of fun! It's hard work, but I want to leave the 30 pounds that I've gained here at college HERE, I don't want excess baggage going into the next steps of my life! Thanks for the great idea! Should we call it something?

Okay binny, I'll take this challenge with you. Lately I've been feeling depressed, hate my job, dissatisfied with my lack of motivation toward getting in shape, no energy, want to quit smoking, want to spend more free time doing my hobbies, and generally want to stop complaining about everything. I think this will be motivating and fun.:D
 
I love the idea of a challenge where we post daily!! Just the thing to keep us focused!! So I guess you can count me in! :D

How about officially starting on Monday ( that is if no one else minds me getting a 3 day head start LOL)


SO official start date is Monday April 5th---- final check in Monday May 24th!

Lets see how many Positive changes we can make in that time!

You know that a new habit is formed in 21 days?

How many GOOD habits can we start?
 
Ok, count me in - I started at 197- 8 weeks ago and now I'm at 176. I'm at 10% of my goal right now. I'm going to be realistic and say I'd like to be at 165 in six weeks. I will not promise to check in every day but I will as often as possible, I promise. My big thing will be getting that exercise. Good luck to all of the rest of you! --Renee
 
I love these challenges! I just completed the April 1 challenge and have signed up for the Mother's Day Challenge so bring on one more!!!!

I think this is a great idea and I love daily threads. I hope you guys like reading looonnnnggg posts because I can get pretty wordy!

Starting Monday sounds good to me.

Binny, since this is your idea and you're our fearless leader for the next six weeks, is there anything specific we need to do like post goals or anything?

i think im gonna try to join this one! I ve been having a hard time exercising lately, but maybe this is what i need..im going to florida may13 so this is some extra motivation!
 
Count me in as well. I need to get more motivated. Running around with all the last minute wedding planning has made me miss my gym appointments a couple times. I feel so much better when I go!

This sounds like a great idea. Sometimes I have good days and other times I have horrible days. This may be the encouragement I need have more good days. I started the April Fools Day Challenge at 174 and ended up at 161. I would like to commit to losing 10 pounds over the next six weeks.

I too probably won't be able to post every day but I'll be here about 3-4 days/week.
 
Sign me up! I started off with a bang on March 1st and have lost 18 pounds so far. I'm already feeling myself start to slack a bit though. Between this challenge and the Mother's Day challenge I'm sure to keep on track!

Im going to join so I have to focus on what is POSITIVE in my life

I was really good yesterday, hoping to do well today. I have lost 17lbs since march 1st and am hoping to lose another 15 over the next 6 weeks!
 
Binny - what a great idea - I'm up for it. Slipped away from WISH for far too long. I'm ready for a new challenge and this will end right as I get to Disney for Member Homecoming!

Monday sounds great as it will give me the weekend to get back to being motivated!
 
i'll join too. my wedding is in august and i'd love to lose these 20 lbs i've gained at college well before then. this would be a great start.

This is going to be strictly up to you. YOU know what positive changes you need to make in your life! Do you need to commit to that extra 30 minutes of walking? Do you want to drop a certain number of pounds? Do you simply want to be more happy and healthy?

Ok here is my goal.... I HAVE to get my cholesterol down :( that is part 1 of my goal. 6 weeks of exercising every day and healthier eating should jump start that!
Part 2 for me, I would like to lose 10 pounds. I *know* I can do that and then some! :)
Part three is to improve my outlook, Im a very upbeat person normally but I have been really letting things get to me and I hate that! I dont want to be a negative or cranky person!

So in the next 6 weeks, I will watch what I eat, exercise daily, and try to focus on the good in my life ( which there is a TON of!!).


Besides, I want to look FANTASTIC for the Great Big Sea concert here May 17th ;) Now THATS motivation!!! :) LOL
 
Binny - okay, here I go listing my three goals:

*I want to reach my second 10% weight loss goal. I need to lose a total of 25 pounds to reach this goal and I have 7.5 pounds left to lose to get there then I will have lost a total of 53 pounds

*I want to keep away from the no sugar added ice cream. I think it slows down my weight loss and

*I want to realize that it's okay for me to take this weight off and realize I don't have to be afraid of succeeding (so more of a think happy thoughts and give myself positive affirmations and learn to accept compliments from people gracefully type goal)

There. Those are the things I'm going to be working on.

I know we can all be successful with the power of our WISH friends behind us! :)

I am doing well on exercise, but need to eat more moderately to get results!

My goal is to lose weight to look better in my new exercise clothes (bicycle shorts).

I will accept the challenge!:) I was doing awesome since the 1st of the year, but just came back from a WDW vacation a couple weeks ago and can't seem to get back on track. I have an "interview/1st workout" scheduled at Curves on Monday. My goal is to workout at least 4 days a week (whether at Curves, doing my Firm videos, or something), get back into low carbing it, and loose at least 7 pounds.

Glad you posted this. Now I'm motivated!

Ok - here's my challenge for myself for the next 6 weeks.

:D Lose 10 lbs. I need to get back to losing!

:D Excercise at least 4 times during the week. Get that body moving!

:D Do a little something special for someone else at least once a week.
