D-Day AGAIN :(

I am feeling so down on myself right now!

I know I've gained back the weight I lost plus some and it has me so depressed. My clothes are tight and I just feel awful. (place tears here)

Now, that I've had my little pity party, it's time to get off my butt and get back on track. I'm just not sure how to go about it this time. I've tried Atkins but I miss fruit and veggies too much. The most success I've had is watching calories so, I think that is the way I'll go again.

I just wanted to let you all know how very proud I am of you and I WILL join those of you with the 30 lb clipart!!

Oh Kelsie, you hang in there and do whatever plan is best for you. I have got to be honest, I had one heck of a pity post written today too. Lots going on and I feel like throwing in the towel. How about we hang in there together.

You have made this place a great place for all of us to come to. Thank you so very much :)

What kind of low calorie food does one serve at a pity party? :p

Just remember that it was YOU who deserves the credit for starting this Challenge that has been so inspirational to all of us....

Kelsie, finding the best eating plan is a large part of the battle against the bulge.

It doesn't matter what type of diet you follow as long as you take control and get back on track.

We can't dwell on the past and we can't worry about tomorrow, we can only concern ourselves with today. You're going to do great, I'm sure of it.

Thanks for starting the challenge it has certainly been a huge help to me.
 
Kelsie, I like DD's comment that "Now you move forward." And you will. That's what I like about this board, we are moving, side-by-side, forward toward a personal, yet common, finish line. Some of us are diehard Atkins, some are WW, some are merely making more healthy choices. And, YOU, Kelsie, are the reason for many of us here. I know that a lot of us caught the "Join me in the WISH challenge" fever. And a lot of us are determined to make that golden ribbon our own.

So, Kelsie, Welcome to the WISH Board. You are among friends here, and you'll have a blast!

{{{{HUGS}}}}} Kelsie. It's gonna be fine. Like everyone said your the reason for all of us to be motivated and find our way. We all have moments that we feel not so great and down but look you gave us all a place to come for support and motivation to move past the moments and go on. You can do it. Think it over and figure out what best suits your lifestyle and go for it. I do the calorie counting and i journal everyday on fitday.com that makes me accountable everyday for the food i have eaten. I will be happy to let you into my journal if you'd like ideas. We don't eat out much so i cook most everything i eat which puts me in control of my choices. You can do it Kelsie your next meal or snack is your chance to go for it!

Hey, Kelsie! Dry those tears. Today is a new day and you are back in control. Don't feel bad about the past. Just know that from this day forward you are recommitted to your healthy eating plan.

If it wasn't for you starting the WISH challenge, I would still be 159 pounds OR heavier! And I'd be miserable and feeling hopeless and worthless. Thanks to WISH I am six pounds lighter and feeling so positive and full of energy and hope!!!! Six pounds might not seem like alot, but it is enough to really make my spirits soar!

Just take a look around here and see all the happy people who are reaching out to help each other. You had a hand in this, Kelsie!!! Pat yourself on the back, stick your chin out, puff your chest up and bask in some pride! :)

We are all here for you! As far as starting over, I'm sure many of us have been there, done that, bought the t-shirt. But, thanks to you, we have banded together to reach our individual goals. Together we can achieve anything!!!!
 
Thanks everyone :) You actually had me in tears with some of your posts (good tears).

A friend (thanks John In Illinois :) )convinced me today to give Atkins a try so I am heading to the store tonight :)

I decided if I am going to start something like the WISH Challenge, then it's time to get on board once and for all!
 
Kelsie - just jump right back on! IMHO, Atkins is the easiest, and healthiest, diet to follow! You say you missed veggies & fruit, but you CAN eat veggies and fruit on Atkins! In fact, even during Induction (the first two weeks) you're supposed to have a big salad every day! After the first two weeks, you can slowly add fruit (berries are the lowest in sugar). Just stay away from bananas because they have so much sugar.

You will get all the support you need (and probably more than you want! LOL) right here! We're here for you friend! :)

Look at how you've given the WISH board such LIFE!!! Gotta say it was kind of a slow mover before and now its helpful to so many people thanks to you!!! We are here for you!!!!

My Mom's favorite phrase was" if you fall off the horse, just get back on" As long as you keep trying, you will never fail!!!!

I am so glad that I was able to be here for you. It was you who was "here for me" to get me started in a direction that I never would have otherwise taken. I am healthier & happier because of this, and I have YOU to thank for this!!

Good for you for starting over. I have started over about 12 times and cried myself to sleep many a night because I could not loose the weight and felt guilty about it and iserable etc. Well this time may just work but if you give up you will never know!!! BRAVO Kelsie and thanks for being there for us. If you need ANYTHING let me know!!!
