Hiya

My time to book adr's is coming round soon.

I am wanting to go to crystal palace, donalds one at ak, maybe even the castle.

but the problem is we are going with my brothers family, and they wont want to do them (theres six of them and it costs alot, plus jordan has intolerances to alot of food)

we are having a seperate car,

so the question is, is it rude for us to do the meals, even if they dont want to?

I mean we are wanting to go different places etc,

I don't think it will be rude - it's your vacation too. I'm sure if you explain to your brother he will understand. There are probably things that they would want to do that you won't :)

i don't think it's rude....
you can do different things and then plan on where you will meet...
i suggest using walkie talkies, since this seems to be the easiest way to meet up....although you can do it with mobiles as well (it just costs more)...

they're right that it's very expensive, so i understand them not wanting to do it....and i understand you wanting to do it....
so you can just meet up afterwards....or not...you could plan on doing completely different things on that day...

i'm not sure that you need to do more than one character breakfast....they're all sort of similar....and they are expensive..
and you only get to see the characters for a short time as they go around the room to each table...
you can also meet characters at the character greeting areas in each park....

so if you only do one breakfast, then it won't get in your way of doing most things with your brothers family....

as for food intolerances.....all WDW restaurants have a complete listing of all food ingredients used....your brother can walk up to any restaurant and ask for the ingredients list...it's usually in a binder with everything very very detailed.....and you can also order specific food if you make the reservation in advance.....if it's one of the common food intolerances they usually have a way around it..
but in any case, they're really really good about things like that..
when we eat at the 50's Prime Time Cafe, i always call the day before to speak with the chef in the kitchen and we figure out what he's going to prepare for us....they're really great and extraordinarily accomodating...
but as i said, all you have to do is walk up to any restaurant and ask for the ingredients book....i see people doing it all the time.....

Totally agree with Tim's comment. Speak to your bother ~ I'm sure he will understand :goodvibes

I think that it will actually be a good idea. It maybe nice to spend some time apart with your own family, you could arrange certain days where you split up and then certain days where you agree on something to do together.

If you arange in adavnce with them then i don't see how it can be rude.

I totally agree with Tim Anna! It's not rude in the slightest :)
