but I don't have the money for a DIGITAL one. I was looking on Craigslist and saw these

Camera #1:

Camera #2
http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/pho/1216754927.html

Camera #3
http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/pho/1212750350.html

I know nothing about photography. But I would really like to get into it. My questions are;

Can they take pics as fast as a Digital one?
How many pics on average can I expect from one roll?
How easy are they to use?
Which one is the best out of those 3?
Just throw in any other tips you might have for me!

Thank you for your help!!

my advice - don't buy old cameras on craigslist, especially old film cameras. If you want to get into photography get a digital camera that has manual functions, some are only $100 - $200 (look at Canon and Panasonic) you will learn a lot and won't waste film, developing costs, travel to get the film developed, and disappointment when the film doesn't turn out.

Agreed completely. If you don't have the money right now, rather than buying a film camera, you should save your money. While the initial up-front cost of a digital camera will be greater, the cost of developing film will quickly eat and exceed that difference.

If you insist on getting a film camera, don't do it on Craigslist. This is for two reasons: 1) if someone is just finally deciding to upgrade their film camera, they might not have a firm grasp on reality, and may overvalue (and thus, overprice) the camera. If you get it on eBay, you have the advantage of buying it from a market-driven economy; and, 2) if you buy from eBay, you can pay with Paypal and fund the purchase with a credit card, giving you two layers of protection (CC dispute and Paypal dispute) should the camera not operate as advertised.

Each slr has a different shutter release speed, but they are very hard to tell appart to the average person. dSLR's and film SLR's will take the picture at the same speed for their respective category (ie: entry level, mid range, semi-pro, pro)

Rolls of film come in 12, 24 (most popoular) and 36 frames per roll. With some carefull loading you can get an additional 1 or 2 images per roll.
