There was this HUGE spider that found it's way into the house...DD comes to me screaming...It was alive and HUGE...It was by the door...it moves I scream...the patio window is open and I'm screaming bloody murder...thank goodness it decide to go outside. YUCK!

I had a friend like this once. A spider was in her car and she was driving. She parked the car on the street got out of the car shaking and crying and the guy behind her got it out for her.

I am really glad the spider left on its own! They are yucky.

I hate spiders! (And thank heavens for the parrot, mb. ;) )

Yuck! I HATE Spiderzillas! There was one on my dd's wall while I was reading her a bedtime story. I grabbed a monstrous wad of toilet paper and dumped the nasty thing in the toilet. I miss having a big strong man around to kill bugs for me. ;)

My Air Force fighter pilot husband kicked a dead roach across the kitchen to where I was making dinner then asked me to pick it up and throw it away. Why???? Because roaches are icky!! So I have to stop making dinner, get a paper towel, pick up the roach, throw it away, wash my hands and go back to making dinner becasue my DH is the wimp!

LOL! Too funny, jws!!

Suzanne...I hate them...all bugs for that matter. When DS was small, I used to remind myself...I'm the adult and I have to get the bug. LOL! Now since he's 11, I'm hoping he'll get them. NO LUCK! :(

Yuck, I hate bugs/spiders, I am even afraid of ants. One time at my DBF house, there was a corner in his bathroom filled with ants. I shot them with stain remover (thats all I had) to kill them and shut the door to leave it for my poor DBF.

My DBIL is a wimp too when it comes to spiders. He throws shoes at them on the wall because he is afraid they will jump on him if he comes close!!!

My big strong dh hates spiders. I'm the one that has to dispose of them in our house.
One time I woke up in the middle of the night to see a bat flying around the bedroom. I yelled to wake up my husband and then pulled the covers up over my head. I am terrified of birds and bats. Next thing I know, my husband had his head under the covers too.::yes:: I said "Honey, one of us has to get the bat out of the house and it is not going to be ME.":scared1: He decided after a few minutes of me yelling at him to get up and get rid of the bat. Geessh.

I can handle a lot but spiders are not one of them--hate them!!! I'm with ya!!!

Wanna know something funny?

I can pour hot wax on my legs, rip out hair at the root & not utter a sound.

But if I see a spider..........:scared1: :scared1: LOTS of screaming & jumping over couches (or whatever is in the way) to put as much distance between me & the horrible creature.(then DH comes in to rescue me)

Funny, isn't it?

Hot wax = no problem
Spider no bigger than a dime = sheer panic

I am a wimp when I saw a huge (a six inch wide and thick legged brown spider) at 2 am this morning. I used a vacuum to suck it up and ran the vacuum for five minutes. My hubby came home and I told him what I done and he laughed until just now. He saw the spider at the bottom of the clear plastic vacuum cup/container. He recognized the spider as the one that liked to hang out by our back door.:earseek:

NC Belle...I agree! Vacuum cleaners work great on them. Especially the high ones trying to escape! :teeth: :smooth:

ouuuuu double post, what do I win

ok now I don't feel so bad. Last night DH and I put our 20 month old DD in her little boat in the pool. We got her legs in and I began to push her when this HUGE spider RAN up her face to her head, I screamed and swam away as fast as I could. Thank God DH was there to knock it off of her and kill it. I couldn't believe I could "abandon" my DD for a stupid spider. I can't believe how scared of those things I am. I felt like a bad Mommy!!
