Even though I am going in September, I am still here to bump this thread and spread pixie dust in hopes of bringing on the discount codes.

I booked a room at the WL (12/3-12/7) & Poly GVC (12/7-12/11) with AAA rates, but I'm wishing, hoping, praying for AP rates for that time period!!

At this point, since nothing new happened today, I'm trying to accept the fact that the rates may not come out until the end of the month and try to not make myself crazy checking several times a day.

Uggh. This is so frustrating!!! I also called this morning and got a not so cheery CM who told me that MAYBE the AP rates for December will come out in NOVEMBER!!!!! Is she kidding? Last week they told me to call at the beginning of this week. I'll just have to keep calling. Isn't it nice when different CM's tell you different things.

A friend of mine got a postcard from Disney last week offering discounts for several weeks in Oct. and Nov. EXCEPT "Jersey Week" (Oct. 30 - Nov. 8) which is when I'm going. What could this mean???

If Disney every says there attendance is down its there own darn fault.

Just look at this forum 13 pages about 10 (over 100 ppl)on each page, JUST BEGGING TO GO TO DISNEY if given a good price. But they hee-haw around and wait and people change there minds or something else comes up (WIFE WANTS A NEW COUCH) and bam your not going.


The should know people need atleast 3 months to plan a proper vacation. Even in there video they reccommend you start planning 6 month out.

Yes I know they want to fill as many room for a higher price. But how many more they would fill if they lowered it just a little.

I admit I was up first thing sunday morning, checked the web sites and even ran to get a newspaper just to see if there where any new rates that where rumored to come out.

I know Rhonda!! I'm getting very worried!! Need those APs for the Poly!! If not, got to come up with another $700. May have to SELL my new couch instead of buy one!!

I'm looking for AP rates to WL for 10/29-11/2. This is our first trip for MNSSHP. I'm a little worried that my dates will be blacked out for discounts.

Looking for AP rates Dec. 8-11 for our Disneymoon at WL. We have it booked now, but it would be nice to only have to pay another $150 outside our room deposit. At least the first half of our trip at SSR is paid for through DVC point rental!

me too deelam- first MNSSHP, and we already have tickets & flights taken care of so can't change our dates......
If I don't get a discount I will need to definitely change resorts. We just can't afford rack rate, and I am just hoping there will still be rooms LEFT at POFQ if I need to switch.

I have been playing the AP rate now for 6 years and I still get chest pain. There have been discounts during busier times in October (ie Jersey Week) but have been slim and at a few resorts. WL "usually" has the least amount of availablity then GF, Poly, CR, YBC.

As far as the moderates thats a crap shoot since the past few year some have been closed. It also depends on any conventions booked. I booked AAA 2 weeks ago and only had availablity at dixie landings and CSR..hope it helps

DisOrBust---Thanks for the history. Yikes!!! This is my first "hunt" for an AP and I'm hating it. I must know how you survived 6 years!!!! I need Poly for 12/2 to 12/7 and AKL for 12/7 to 12/12. I have AKL on AAA, but have been told that the view I want at Poly is not available for AAA. Guess I will be checking throughout today and back again early in the morning. Glad I have good company. Ya'll are all great!!

Me too Pixi. the flight and party tickets are paid for. I can't change my dates. By reading these boards, it seems like WL is very popular. I hope it's not tough getting a AP discount there. I would also consider switching resorts if WL does not have AP rates.

Anyone get more information than "not today" These CM's are tough to crack. Wonder if they recruit them from some intelligence agency?

I didn't get a specific date, but I did get another specific statement I've never heard before. A CM I spoke with a few days ago said that AP rates will be released IF Disney projects the resorts will be below 90% capacity during Oct/Nov/Dec. Since I know a lot of people have ressies only in the hope of converting them to AP (or other) rates, I wonder what the big picture looks like to Disney right now?
