What are your favorite rides/shows ect at DisneyWorld?

For me the best, I could do it all day is Soaring. But like the Safari ride at AK as well as the Kali river raft ride and the Dinosaur ride. I'm ok with the test track and the Mission space, wuss level ride. At the Magic Kindom, I like the Pirates and the Haunted house. The Small world is ok and I'm going to try the Thunder Mountian and the Splash Mountian rides.

My very favorite things are the 3D movies, like the Bugs life ...

Erica likes all these but she likes the full monty on the mission space and will do the Mt Everest and the Space mountian she is even macho enough to do the rocking roller coaster but TOT is one she did once and never wants to do again.

Her favorite is the whole experience.

What's your passion, what keeps you coming back. Please share.

I've had the great fortune to be vacationing at WDW since 1971. My absolute favorite has always been the Haunted Mansion. I've been riding the coasters since they were built, but can't anymore because of motion sickness (makes me crazy that I can't :headache: ) I've never ridden EE or RnR because of that.

I love Soarin'...actually get a little emotional riding it and I'm not sure why. I like the new Nemo ride. I also go to EPCOT for the food!

I loved Millionaire...made it to the hot seat twice, but it's gone now. I'll never, never, never ride ToT :sad2:

I LOVE the safari ride and everist at AK. The shows at AK always make me tear up too (Nemo and Lion King). I think AK is my favorite park by far. I could spend days and days there.

However, the mountains at MK are all awesome in their own ways, and who doesn't love going through all of the countries at Epcot? So fun!

I can't wait to be there in January :) :cheer2:

I love it all but my sentimental favorite is Splash Mountain. I took DD when she was 3 (almost 4) for an all girls trip. She was scared of all dark rides (still won't go on Haunted Mansion at 7), but was totally into the idea of Splash. She was tall enough, so we got in line... SEVEN times in one weekend. Crazy! I was sooo wet... she didn't care how long the line was!

I also just love browsing on Main Street and in the countries at Epcot...

Lately all of our trips have been really short (like only Saturday at the parks). Certainly better than nothing, but I'd love to have a long, lazy trip with lots of soaking in the atmosphere. And some more Mickey ice cream- I skipped it at Minnie because I didn't want to lug any extra weight around on Sunday. LOL

I love all the thrill rides. ToT is great but I'll admit is scares the crap out of me every time.

My favorite attraction is probably Mickey's Philharmagic (sp?). I've always loved it but it's even better now. We went on the Family Magic Tour and DD's got to sit in the front row next to Peter Pan and Wendy. Peter was making all kinds of noise throughout and went nuts when his part of the show came. Now DD's always talk about that time when we see it.

But, truth be told - I go to WDW for the food!!

I like it all.

Other than the fact that they have changed the recipe to the citrus swirl (located near the exit of Tiki Birds) which has greatly saddened me I enjoy being there.

Citrus Swirl WAS the main attraction for me in MK...ice cream swirled with OJ. The orange juice has now been removed and substituted with a sweet Tang-like yuck. Awful and a very sad change.

Tiger Lily, since we can't share a Citrus swirl, perhaps you would join Erica and I for a margrita sometime.:flower3:

I agree with Mike... It's all about the Food!!!!!

I love skipping down Main Street with my Daughter!! I also love browsing the shops at Epcot, even tho it seems like the merchandise doesn't change much. I also really love the Safari in AK and of course the roller coasters EE and RnRC.

Since my girls are so young, most of my enjoyment is watching them feel the magic. Oh and I LOVE to ride Dumbo and the Teacups with them.

I totally agree with you. In fact, I sent Disney an email telling them how much $$$ we saved on our last trip, as the 5 of us had to have this treat often during our trip. We would even make a special trip over to MK to get it!

On this last trip, I got a Frozen OJ & a vanilla ice cream and 2 of us split it, scooping a little of each. It just wasn't the same!

Why fix something that isn't broken?

Favourite attractions - definitely can't narrow it down to just one!

Magic Kingdom
Space Mountain is an oldie, but a goodie. Also love Big Thunder Mountain and POTC.
Just had my first Dole Whip this last trip.....LOVE those!!
Epcot
Oh, the spinning version of Mission Space for sure, and really like Soarin. Oh, and all the food at the countries.
MGM
RnRC, TOT and the frozen lemonade.
Animal Kingdom
Expedition Everest

Robert I'm more wussy than Erica when it comes to the scary rides. I love the 3D movies. We have got to do that Rose and Crown with you.

We have the 25th free, since we arrive on the 24th and don't have the group activities planned till the 26th. Anyone want company to do the park on the 25th?

I wonder if we asked the grand Disney whoever that makes decisions if our wish shirts could be an automatic fastpass for a day? Anyone know who we would contact?

Dave (who believes in the magic.):hippie:

Dave: We arrive on the 19th so we can do whatever park you pick on the 25th. Remember that Food & Wine is going on at EPCOT;) Isn't that where R&C is also?:cool1:

I think they should make you Grand Marshall of the parade because of your shirt:laughing:

We are still on for dinner on the 24th after we arrive right? We have our annual pass vouchers so we can get the DDE for the food discounts. You mentioned the Brewery, beer after a long drive sounds llke a plan. And a little salmon to wash it down with.

We made those WISH shirts so we could stand out to other WISHers when we went to Expos and general wandering. Speaking of will there be an Expo for the ToT???

Dave:hippie:

Dave: We are still on for some good brew and company!

They have packet pickup on Fri and Sat so you know Disney will be selling booth space for an expo. Don't expect a lot as the Minnie Expo was small compared to the marathon expo.
