Can someone tell me a little about WATP? I have heard alot about the tapes here on the boards. I was at Filene's today and saw them and asked the cashier how much were they? She said $19.99 down from $49.99. (this is for all 3) So I bought them. Now I have no idea about them. All I am imaging is walking back and forth in my living room. :p So as you can see I need info. :teeth:

Thanks!

I think they are great, and no, you are not going to be walking back and forth in your living room, more like in place, side to side, back and forth, in place again, etc. There are also some arm movements involved. Let me tell you, you will definitely get a good work out from these tapes. They are excellent. Go on and open them up, you won't be disappointed.:D

I didn't think I'd like WATP--I hate aerobic dancing or anything that takes coordination to exercise!!:teeth: :teeth:

However, they are simple and easy to catch on to...basically stepping in place, kicks, leg lifts, side-steps, etc...nothing too tricky...even I caught on!:Pinkbounc

Enjoy and let me know how you like them--maybe I can get re-motivated to get back on a regular schedule of doing them. I have "fallen off the wagon" with my exercise routine. :(

The 1 mile tape is very easy at least. It is mostly being in 1 place i find that i might travel a few feet up or back during the course of it but largely stay in the same place. It givees me the cardio kick i need and using the 2lb dumbbells for the 1 mile tape is great. My arms are already improving. As for leslie-she drives me nuts, so after i got used to the routine i stuck her on mute and turned on Garth Brooks. Turned out to be a great idea. I work harder listening to him.

Good luck

I agree, these are good tapes and it gets ya goin'! I've been doing the 1 mile for 12 days and, just today did the 2 mile. I might look into getting the high calorie burning tape (?). And, trust me, if I can do these without falling over or killing myself, then ANYONE can do them! That does NOT mean they're a piece of cake tho. ;)

BTW, I think that's a good price for the set, too! ::yes:: I spent almost that much so far for the 1 mile & 2 mile and, I thought I got a good deal.

Onward and Downward!

Forgot to ask. The tapes say WATP for abs. Is this the only one or is there another one

Samandmom- There are several WATP's. The one you have, The Express version, The Walk away weights version (my favorite). I love the music on the express version, but I get a much better work out with the Walk away weights version.

Let us know how you like them. They are easy to do. Once you have been doing them for a while, they are great to add to something else. I do the FIRM, and they are great to do on my REST days.

I agree you got a great price on them! Try them out and see what you think - they get fairly easy after a while, but are still a nice workout, and are short enough for a busy day. I believe you can get other versions on QVC too, and she sells weights etc too.
