the next morning ??

Found a real cheap flight that gets us in the night before we are to check in. Figured we'd stay at an airport hotel (I have a bazillion point with Marriott) that night, with the hopes we could jump the ME in the am. Wondered if any of you know the answer off hand. I'll call CRO today and see what they say. Will post their response here.

TIA

I don't know what they will say, but I would love to hear what they tell you....it might make the difference for us in whether a cheap flight is really that cheap (if we have to pay for transportation to the world it might offset the diff in ticket prices)...so please keep us posted.

and they said, you CAN come in the night before and still use ME. Trick is you have to show up at the Disney Welcome Desk at MCO, with your luggage. They'll take your luggage and give to their luggage transporter and you can walk on the bus.

Problems I see are....
....working with the system to let them know that inbound their is not flight number for them to worry about, and making sure they know what time you are arriving at the welcome desk. Being a new service and all, they could be easily confused. My CRO was just a bit, but was consistent with her "yes you can do that" message.
....getting enough savings flyingthe night before to offset the airport hotel cost. If you want to stay right at the airport, the Hyatt Regency's rack rate is $199. You could go offsight, but then you'd have to get back to the airport WITH your luggage. Too much of a hassle that way. Could just get a town car from there, but then hotel plus town car probably wipes out any savings.

My flight savings makes this deal almost a push. I'll have to think hard on it tonight. Leaning towards avoiding the complexity and sticking with the flights I got now.

You also could book a value room at disney and then just have your baggage transferred to your other resort the next day. This way you would not need to change your flight and lug all of you stuff from the airport, to an offsite hotel, back to the airport just to use the shuttle. Plus the value rates would be a good bit cheaper then $199. a per night at the Hyatt. You could probably even get a mod for less then that per night.

Nice idea Goofy. Now I really do have to think about it !!
